lucia arrived at the dorms to see jungkook on the couch once again, this time with more soju bottles around him.

lucia ran her hands through her hair as she sighed heavily. she knew the other members were sleeping and she didn't want to wake them up, so she would have to try to carry jungkook to his bed.

"jungkook, c'mom..." she shook him and pulled on his arm. jungkook got up at the sound of her voice.

"luci! i'm so sorry!" lucia shushed him. "it's late and the others are sleeping. let's head to bed." jungkook nodded as his arm was around lucia's shoulder, lucia was holding his hand, and her other hand was around his waist.

once they were in their room, lucia shut the door and took off her shoes.

"lucia, please let me talk."
"jungkook, it's late and i'm tired."
"please, i'm not even drunk. i'm starting to sober up."

"your face is puffy and your cheeks are pink" if this was any other situation, lucia would be gushing and calling him cute, but it wasn't.

lucia got in her bed and under the covers. she faced the opposite side of jungkook, not wanting to hear him right now since she was extremely tired.

jungkook on the other hand sat on his bed as he stared at her figure. lucia started to softly snore, but jungkook knew she was faking it. i mean they've been living with each other half of their lives.

he took a deep breathe before speaking.

"look, the reason i've been avoiding you is because a few nights ago i overheard you talking to your aunt about wanting me to be your boyfriend and that you weren't scared anymore..." lucia's eyes widened and she cringed to herself. she didn't know he could hear. she thought he was asleep. plus, she was in the bathroom while having that conversation with her aunt.

"so i started avoiding you because i was planning something to ask you out properly. i knew that i if i was around you, i would fold easily. the reason i've been smiling at my phone is not because i'm seeing someone, but because i was planning a whole day for us. now that i think about it, i shouldn't have done what i did. i completely forgot that you hate being avoided. i'm sorry lucia."

lucia stayed quiet for a few second before getting up from her bed and embracing him in a hug.

his hands wrapped around her waist as his was buried in her neck. lucia smiled.

"i'm sorry too, for being a bit rude."
"you weren't being rude. you had every right to feel that way and be upset."

the two stood there in each other's embrace before jungkook broke the silence.

"i was planning to ask you in a few days, but can i be your boyfriend?"

lucia felt butterflies in her stomach and she felt giddy.

"ask me in the morning once you've really sobered up" she chuckled and patted his chest. she began to walk away to her bed as jungkook pouted. "why~" he sulked following behind her. "can i at least cuddle with you?"

"yes~"

they didn't know, but all the members were outside the door listening to them.

"yah, go to bed" yoongi scolded them. as he stood behind them with messy hair and his blanket wrapped around him.

"wow, i'm so proud of our jungkook-ie" hoseok proudly smiled. "me too, we should celebrate tomorrow. this is a big milestone" jimin joked.

"this day will go down in history" tae crossed his arms over his chest. "don't over exaggerate" jin walked away and into his room. "we should all go back to bed" namjoon and hoseok began to walk away.

jimin and tae looked at each other with mischievous smiled on their faces. taehyung's hand was about to reach for the doorknob to luci's and jungkook's room, but it was slapped out if the way by yoongi.

"go. let them be" jimin and taehyung groaned. "we thought you went to your room"

"no, i've been here the whole time. i'm walking you guys to your rooms. i don't want you guys trying to pull a silly prank"

"hyung~" tae whined as yoongi followed behind them. "it's okay, tae. we'll do it a different day" jimin patted taehyung's back.

"no you won't. now head to bed" yoongi opened the door to their rooms.

lucia woke up to see a shirtless jungkook in their bathroom, brushing his teeth. he finished and began walking towards her.

"so~ can i be your boyfriend now?" he crouched down in front of her. lucia smirked deciding to tease him. "no" jungkook's jaw dropped.

"i'm kidding! yes you can" she giggled.

jungkook was about to lean in for a kiss when the door bursted open. in came all the members.

"wow! never thought i'd see the day" hoseok patted jungkook's back. "took you guys long enough!" jin shook his head.

"do you guys want to let bangpd know?" namjoon asked. "they've been dating for a few seconds. let them breathe!" yoongi rolled his eyes playfully at namjoon.

"we'll let him know eventually" lucia spoke. "now can you guys get out? i kinda wanna shower"

"c'mom guys" namjoon pushed everyone out of the room.

"don't do anything bad in there!" jimin teased as him and taehyung ran away giggling.

i'm planning to make a seventeen added member book where the girl is also mexican-korean. or a solo book, but i'm not sure yet. i feel like i'm better at writing these type of books 😅.
