I was awakened by the sound of Kay's bedroom door opening. I slept in here after Bree fell asleep last night because her bed is way too small for the both of us. I opened my eyes and turned to face the door. I saw Kay come into the dark room.

"My bad, Nini. I ain't know you was in here," Kay said quietly.

"It's okay. What time is it?" I asked, closing my eyes again and returning to my original position.

"Almost four," he said while opening his drawer to change his clothes. I heard the sound of clothes hitting the floor. Then, he closed the drawer and got in the bed with me.

"Good night Moni." I just hummed in response and quickly fell back asleep.

I opened my eyes when I heard the sound of a camera shutter. I saw Kay's mom standing in front of the bed with her phone pointed at us. She stopped smiling and her eyes widened when she noticed that I was awake.

"My bad. Y'all look too cute I just had to take a picture for my Facebook. Go back to sleep Nini," she whispered before tiptoeing out of the room. Kay was spooning me with his arm around me.

I'm not even annoyed that she woke me up cus I lowkey gotta pee anyway. I tried moving Kay's arm from around me.

"Stop moving," he groaned pulling me closer to him.

"KayKay, let go I have to pee," I whispered and he groaned again.

"Aight but hurry up and come back. I was mad comfortable."

"Okay," I said. He let go of me and I got up and walked to the bathroom in the hallway. I used the restroom and washed my hands afterward. I washed my face and found an unopened toothbrush underneath the sink and brushed my teeth.

I was about to leave the bathroom when I remembered that I didn't text Jay at all yesterday. I leaned against the sink as I texted him. He responded instantly and we text back and forth for a few minutes. All you could hear was the sounds of the keyboard and my nails repeatedly hitting the screen.

"Moni what's taking so long?" Kay whined as I heard his footsteps coming towards the bathroom. So, I hurried up and sent my last text to Jay.

"Who the fuck you texting right now? You just woke up," Kay said stopping in front of the door.

"Nobody," I said quickly locking my phone as my heart pounded against my chest.

"Nobody? Open the fucking door," he said twisting the handle. I opened the door and his look of irritation dropped once he saw me.

"That's my shirt?" Kay asked. He tucked his bottom lip between his teeth looking me over.

"Yeah, sorry. I had to borrow it cus Bree wouldn't even let me leave to grab my pajamas."

His eyes raked over me a little longer before he cleared his throat.

"Aight. Get out. I need to take a shower," Kay said putting his hands in the pockets of his sweatpants.

"You're so demanding. You could ask me to do things nicely sometimes," I said leaving the bathroom.

"Get off my dick," he said walking in and closing the door.

I went back to his room and made the bed. I lay on top of the covers and scrolled on TikTok.

Kay strolled into the room almost an hour later with a towel wrapped around his waist.

"Why you take mad long in the shower?" I asked watching as he picked out clothes from his dresser. I let my eyes roam his back as a few drops of water rolled down it.
