Chapter 10

"Why? Why couldn't you come to me or say anything? Peter, I felt so hurt and alone..."

Stiles whispered:

"Please tell me the truth."

And then there was silence. The moment Stiles wanted to take his hands out of Peters grip, the grip tightened and Peter replead barely audible:

"He forced me..."

Stile was speechless but he needed to know:

"What...what do you mean?"

Peter looked at the ground and then their joined hands:

"I really didn't knew that they wanted to kick you out at first. The night of the meeting Derek and Isaac texted me and told me that Scott decided to get rid of you. Of course, he doesn't wanted to kill you so he did the next best thing that came to his mind and apparently, he just took the opinions of the people who thought the same as him to heart and ignored the others. When I got the massages, I immediately went to the Loft but when I was there it was to late. Scott had kicked you out and you weren't there anymore."

Stiles' mind went blank when he listened to Peter. And one thing that really surprised him was Derek. It sounded that he was against Scott's idea, too. But was he? He didn't knew what to think so Stiles just listened to his Mate. Mate, how lovely that sounded:

"When I got there Scott and I got in a huge argument and then everything went out of control. When I wanted to go to you Scott stopped me and we fought again. I told him biting him was the stupidest thing I had ever done in my life and that he was the shittiest Alpha that EVER existed. I wanted to go when he confronted me why I was on your side and why I wanted you to come back because you....you where just a weak human. I lost my control and struck him and told him that..."

Here Peter stopped himself and took a deep breath:

"No matter what a shit Alpha he is, in the end he is our Alpha...my Alpha and he COMMENDED me not to go to you and to not bring you back..."

Stiles couldn't believe that Scott would really step so low. That he would act towards Stiles like that is one thing but he never thought he would do something like that to the rest of his Pack. Stiles still had a choice in the end but something like the Alpha commend can't be broken. 

Stiles understood that it was needed when someone really lost control or was feral but to use it on a pack member just to force him to abide to your every wish is just disgusting. Stiles knew that something like that could really hurt someone when the commend went against your own wishes and free will. 

He could clearly see how much it took a toll on Peter and it must be so much more painful because Scott held him back from his Mate. So it must really be sadness Stiles saw in the wolfs eyes:

"Do you want to come in?"

Stiles didn't wait for an answer und carefully he guided Peter inside and onto the Couch while still holding one hand. None of them said anything. Stiles went into the kitchen and came back with two cups of tea. It was a special blend he made himself. It was to calm down:

"Here drink this."

Peter took the cup gratefully. After a short while Stiles asked the one question that bothered him about Peters explanation:

"What did you tell him? When you strucked him I mean. 

He lay his hand on Peters and waited patiently for an answer and he hoped it was the one he had in mind. Stiles needed to hear it from Peter...
