A HORDE OF UNDEAD stormed the building, groaning as their hands stuck out to grab anything in front. Leon swiftly kicked them down, then stomped on their heads as their dead bones cracked underneath the strong force. Helena used the end of the gun to whip the dead faces in front of her, knocking them backwards.

All you could hear were the sickening sounds of cracking bones and tearing of rotten flesh.

After clearing the way past the elevator, the car parking garage was filled to the brim with monsters. At the metal gate where it blocked off the exit, a crowd of undead clawed their hands through, trying desperately to head towards the noise.

"That's our cue to get the hell out of here," Leon opened the door towards the stairway, heading up towards the Benford yard. The wooden floors were so creaky, it made awful noises with their footsteps. "If this spread in gas form, then that would mean everyone on campus got infected on campus. Then why is it so quiet?"

"I was told that too," Seraphina added in. No idea why the BSAA was suddenly cut off of communication, but their warnings made sense now. The possibility of them being overwhelmed wasn't low. Chris's team would probably be getting the worse of it. "That something had spread. I didn't think it would be like this again."

"I've got a bad feeling about this." Leon observed the broken glass next to the windows. Past the windows was the giant football field, still lit up and reflecting off of the green grass. Nobody was out there on the field, which only made things feel creepier. Past the extending hallways full of empty classrooms and zombies, the field outside looked serene compared to everything else.

American flags were strung up for the sake of the president being the guest, along with fairy lights and balloons of red, white and blue. The spread of the infection got the worst of the guests standing outside in the area, as many of them were walking around and groaning.

Even the stands where food was to be served had turned all moldy and disgusting, as if the fog Liz's father was talking about infected everything in it's path. There was a certain foul smell emitting off of the food, a smell she didn't want to look into further. All of three started to search for the keycard, which was their ticket out of the campus.

At the end of a hallway, Helena pressed into a keypad. Her fingers swiped over the keys, a deep frown etched on her lips. Beep. Beep. Beep, a loud alarm blared in their eyes as the bright red lights flashed. Her attempts at guessing a code didn't work as they kept themselves on guard. All this noise meant that the undead were heading their way.

"Hunnigan, we're locked in here," Leon aimed at the windows, backing away as he watched a hoard head toward their way. His voice was eminent and panicky. "We need your help."

"I'm on it, you guys have to hold out until I'm done. Give me a minute!"

It had been a while since she had heard Hunnigan's voice since that year. A very long time. Yet oddly enough, her voice was calming as always, a sign that maybe things wouldn't be so bad with her help.
