LANDING ONTO THE GRIMY FLOORS, Seraphina groaned as she got up from her butt. Landing on it wasn't pleasant at all, especially when the smell of old trash floated through the chute. Helena extended a hand to her, which she looked at before taking the support.

"Are you alright?" Helena asked out of concern.

"Yeah. I'll be fine."

The chute lead down to a place with tunnels built inside, supported by measly wooden beams and poles. They'd be lucky to not be caved inside, but Seraphina didn't want to think about that possibility. Not sure which death is worse, suffocation or a bloodthirsty virus?

"Why can't you fill us in yet?" Leon questioned.

"Because you probably wouldn't believe me. That's why I want to show you. And when I do...you'll have all the answers and proof you need," Helena explained as the sounds of water dripped from the ceiling.

"So back at that lab, that tape..." Leon started talking, slowing down as water sloshed against his legs. All three of them carefully stepped in the water covered grounds, making sure not to slip.

"With your friend in it? What's the story on her, anyway?"

Seraphina listened to them speak as she braced herself to touch the grimy waters.

"Look, if you want answers, you should be prepared to give a couple yourself." Leon said firmly. He didn't like pushed on the subject, as his past ran deep with Ada, much deeper than Seraphina knew.

"You're right. That's only fair, I guess...but I figured you two were also good friends, right? Another story I won't be told about." Helena emphasized the word in a sarcastic way, glancing at the other two with a slight smile.

"Friends...as if," Seraphina huffed, her words seemed harsh, but it was only in a playful manner. Her expression turned from mischief to a serious look. "He just saved a dead girl, that's all."

"Well, once we all say our secrets, I would like to know what you mean by that," Helena said lightheartedly before reaching the end of the tunnel and opening the door. "Deborah!"

A woman's body was on the ground.

She wore a beautiful blue dress, her chestnut brown hair laid flat. Her features were delicate, resembling Helena slightly. They must be sisters.

"Deborah!" Helena shook her shoulders. "Can you hear me?"

Deborah's eyes opened. "Helena...?"

"Oh, thank goodness!" Helena hugged her sister's body, her voice cracking from the emotion.

"Are you going to tell me now what the hell is going on?" Leon came closer to them, holding out his gun in case of danger nearby.

"Leon...let's get her out first," Seraphina assisted Deborah's body and helped Helena with her sister. "I know how you feel, but I think we should leave."
