The members began to go out, but when JK, the last one, was going to do it, she spoke again, taking advantage of the fact that the two were left alone.

- No.

- No? No what?

- If it's something you want to solve as a group, that's fine with me, but that won't make me change my mind. Ours is over, Jungkook.

He looked at her with his mouth open without understanding, dumbstruck. He brushed his hair back and then walked over to her, disbelief on his face.

- I must have heard you wrong.

- I'm sure you understood me.

- Are you the same person who begged me to get back together when I said it wasn't the best thing for your career? The one who had an anxiety attack that put her in the hospital because she thought I was with someone else? The one who agreed with me to make it public when we got back together?

- Yes, I am.

- And then? - He asked with wide eyes and desperately opening his arms. - You're driving me crazy! Don't play with me.

- I'm sorry. I was wrong, but it won't happen again. This definitely ends here and now. I'm going to the company's new office in Los Angeles, with a new manager, to continue my singing career.

- But you wanted to leave this profession! - he screamed.

Y/N just shrugged and Jungkook grabbed a nearby chair and smashed it into one of the mirrors in the dance studio, which shattered.

- Fuck! - he shouted indignantly.

The members came back running and entered, startled by the sound of breaking glass.

- You are... you are... - he began, pointing his finger at her.

- The worst thing that ever happened to you. I know.

- Why are you doing this to me?

- Because you were always right, Namjoon was always right and now BH is. I can't keep making my feelings count more than everything else.

- I don't believe you. You're lying to me. It doesn't make sense after what we talked about last night.

- They've opened my eyes, that's all.

- The management?

- Jimin.

- Me? - He asked stunned with wide eyes pointing to himself. - But if I have rectified what I said.

- Now it's not the right time. The group is at the top, and you, Jungkook, have a spectacular path ahead of you as a dancer, singer, producer and everything you set your mind to. You're too young to risk everything for a relationship that, with our schedules, is already doomed.

- Look me in the eyes and tell me one thing. When we started I told you that if you left me, it had to be because it was your decision and yours alone.

- That's how it is.

He grimaced, beginning to shake his head.

- It doesn't make sense... - he repeated in a low voice.

- Jungkookie, leave it already. - Jin asked as he approached him.

- Ok. - He said finally looking up to stare down at her. - I'm just going to ask you for one last favor. Don't come near me again.

- Consider it done.

- Fine.

He stormed out the dance studio, followed by the members. Y/N saw Tae showing bewilderment, hurt and disappointment in the way he looked at her before disappearing. Only when she heard the door close and the sound of their footsteps receding, she let out a cry of anguish that she silenced by covering her mouth with her hands. She felt the ground melt and begin to fall when somebody's arms caught her in time. She turned in alarm, but seeing that it was Yoongi who was holding her, who was gently stroking her hair, she clung to him as she continued to cry uncontrollably.
