Chapter thirty four

Willa POV

I had decided to move back in with Evan so now all my belongings were in his home, boxes sprawled out everywhere. I knew it was a massive leap to take so quickly but I wasn't bothered, I felt like I had waited for this man for a century.

"It's weird, all of this" I stated just above a whisper. My head laying on Evan's chest so I could hear his heart beat.

"What do you mean, what's weird?" Evan responded as he lowered his body and nuzzled his head into my neck.

I laughed because of him peppering kisses up to my jawline. "I don't know, it's been years since we met at that bar and I always think I've loved you since that day. Years pass and now we are together"

"I knew you always had something for me" Evan teased but it came across as a mumble due to the continuous kisses.

Swatting his arm playfully I turned on my side; as did Evan so we were now looking at one another "Seriously Evan, why did it take us so long?"

Evan smiled at me "the best things always happen at the right time, it just wasn't our time" he then wrapped his arms around me tighter so I was cuddling into him. "I also couldn't admit to you my feelings, I was scared about my ex girlfriend and then of course scared of rejection.. I didn't want to hurt you"

Planting a kiss on his chest I bit down on my lower lip "Evan I hope you know I would of never rejected you"

Evan frowned "you did when I asked you to be my girlfriend at first" a tedious laugh escaping his mouth.

"That was different, you broke up with Emma a day earlier" shaking my head I let out a loud sigh "Evan you do have your timings"

"Hey, better late than never"

I nodded "I suppose you're right"

"But still you're an ass for making me wait like five or more years. However long it's been"

Evan rubbed his thumb over my right cheek and then over my parted lips with a frown "I know and I'm so sorry Willa. If I could take it back I would. All I've ever wanted is to be in this moment we are right now and to never leave again"

My cheeks flushed at his words, my breath trembling "Evan I love you so much"

Evan kissed me gently then pulled away "I love you too baby"

Leaning my face to his I kissed him again but this time I took the lead and was more rough than he was, I wanted every last bit of him and nobody was going to stop me this time. Our lips connecting like we were trying to make up for all the years we missed out on, savouring every last inch of one another like it was our last.

Pushing Evan down so he was now resting on his back I climbed over him; barely breaking the kiss.

"Evan I want you" I breathed into his lips

Evan gave me a glinted look; his eyes turning dark. In response he started kissing me with more force, his hand going to the back of my neck and pushing me into him making me groan.
