Chapter thirty six

Evan POV

It has been a few weeks since me and Willa decided to be in a relationship and it was truly the best weeks of my life; not to sound cheesy. But when you have been wanting someone for so long and they are finally yours you have no idea how to feel; it's overwhelming almost.

Willa walked into the lounge in just her underwear and an oversized t shirt, the shirt I recognised to be one of mine which made me bite down on my lip. "How can you look so good in my clothes, you look better than I do" I whined with a pout.

Willa chuckled and did a twirl "because you suit being outside of clothes best"

Raising my eyebrows up I walked over to her, picking Willa up so her legs were now hugging my waist. "is that so?"

She nodded "but of course it's only for my eyes, nobody else's. it's a shame"

"Okay, I'll start walking around naked. Would that be favourable to you?"

Willa shook her head "My.Eyes.Only" her tone being seductive and demanding all at the same time which made a puff of air escape my lips.

Putting Willa down on the floor I went and grabbed myself some toast, biting into it. "I have a plan for us today"

"And what would that be?" She quizzed also grabbing herself a slice.

Swallowing I replied "I'm taking us out for dinner"

Willa's eyes lit up "really? We are finally going to have a successful date" Frowning I cupped her cheeks and gave her a kiss. "A very successful date"

Yes things between us were going really well but I wasn't sure on how to tell her the latest news, I didn't want to ruin things. My ex girlfriend has been found, Thankfully for me I always had the upper-hand as I hired detectives so if she was planning something, I would know.

But still the thought of her trying to find me when I was now happy made me worry excessively. I couldn't deal with losing everything I've built, I had never felt so content before and that's probably why she had now resurfaced.

"Earth to Evan?" Willa interjected as she waved her hand across my face. Shaking my head I came back to reality, seeing Willa's adorable face all scrunched up due to her trying to get my attention. She was too cute.

"Yes- what is it?" I stammered

"What time should we go tonight? And what should I wear ?"

"Oh right, we will go at six and wear something sexy. But not too sexy that other guys will want you because you're mine" I teased with a grin.

Willa blushed "I'm not sexy... don't worry"

Grabbing her upper arms I frowned "you're very sexy. Stop putting yourself down before I show you how sexy you are..."

Willa swallowed back saliva and quickly turned away from me "I-I'm going to shower and get dressed"

How the fuck was I meant to tell her that Lyra was back in town, the girl who almost killed me and said she would kill any girl I loved; if I ever loved again. Jesus, can my life stop being so damn complicated. Furrowing my brows I rubbed my temples, making myself a black coffee.
