𝐒𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 | 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬

Chapter forty six

Today was the day of the scan, our sixteen week scan to see our little baby and I was full of nerves. This was the first time I was going to see them, I wondered what they were currently doing in Willa's belly. Hopefully more karate kicks like before given the photo I saw.

"Willa Quinn and Evan Peters" a lady interjected my thoughts which made both of us stand up quickly. Grabbing Willa's hand we walked over, following the lady to one of the ultrasound rooms. "Calm down.. you're turning my knuckles white" Willa whispered in my ear which made me blush.

"Right Willa, you're around sixteen weeks. You'll be seventeen weeks on Friday is that right ?" The Sonographer said softly, sorting out her chair and placing a new sheet of examination table paper down onto the bed.

"Of course" Willa responded, releasing her grip with my hand and laying down. Willa pulled up her shirt half way and her leggings down to her hips.

"Did you want to know the gender before I proceed?"

We both shook our heads "no, we want to leave it as a surprise" we said in unison which made us chuckle. The Sonographer Hailey then put jelly onto Willa's stomach which seemed to be cold as Willa flinched. "Yes, sorry I forgot to say it's cold"

Willa shrugged "it's fine, last time it was too" with a nod the lady grabbed the probe and rubbed it along, the picture now showing on the monitor.

That's when I saw them, this small little baby wriggling about with their legs and arms whipping about like they were in a boxing ring. Tears brimmed in my eyes; pure love in my heart as I continued watching Hailey examine the baby.

"That's our baby" I trembled as I grabbed Willa's hand. Bringing it to my lips and kissing it. I could feel that Willa's heart was pounding so when I saw the baby go even crazier it made me laugh. "They are right when they say baby's feel your emotions"

Willa nodded "aren't they so perfect?"

I nodded "our son or daughter"

"Everything is looking amazing. Baby is growing lovely and within the correct measurements. They are growing one day ahead than your due date but that's completely normal" Hailey stated with a smile "congratulations both of you"

The lady took a photo which was printed and then proceeded to help wipe off the jelly from Willa's belly. "Thank you so much Hailey" Willa said with glassy eyes. "I could hug you right now"

Hailey chuckled "I'm glad I've made you happy. You have a strong little one"

Grabbing our things and the scan photo we headed outside, jumping into our car and going back home. "We will be parents Evan" Willa said in disbelief as her eyes followed the roads with her eyes.

"And we will be the coolest parents" I corrected with a wink "this child is going to be crazy due to them having us as parents"

Willa shook her head in dismay "with your genes sure, but I'm... normal"

"Sure.. whatever helps you sleep at night babe" I grinned whilst arching my head back and laughing.

Now at home we laid snuggled up on the couch, the fireplace warming our bodies. Willa of course put on a Christmas film; this time it was the grinch who stole Christmas which I actually quite enjoyed. May I add the only one I like.

I sipped my hot chocolate and fed Willa my marshmallows to her dismay. "Evan I'm going to pop if you feed me one more"

Frowning I shoved another one to her lips "eat it"

Willa rolled her eyes and took the marshmallow. "You're eating for two now so that means extra marshmallows. You said it was fattening season..."

Swatting my arm playfully she turned her attention back to the tv "yes but I don't want to be the size of a damn whale"

"You're gonna get much bigger than this baby" I stated matter o factly "our baby isn't going to stay that small for long"

Willa nodded "I suppose so. You won't think I'm fat and ugly will you?"

"Absolutely not!" I protested. Grabbing her face and kissing her repeatedly on the cheeks and then to her lips. "You're growing our child I don't care if you decided to be the size of a 'whale' or whatever you think you'll end up like"

"Evan you're so soppy, I dig this new you" Willa complimented with doe eyes. "You're incredibly loving towards me"

Jutting my lip out I frowned "I've always been loving thank you very much"

"Sure babe" Willa chuckled as she snuggled back into me. "But don't change. This is simply perfect"

I nodded nuzzling my head on top of hers, my nostrils filling with cinnamon and Christmas cookies from her new shampoo which made me chuckle. "You even want to smell like Christmas"

"Of course I do, I'll be making you wash with this one also" Willa scoffed with blank eyes making me fidget. "You're too festive for your own good"

"Anyway- let me make you a bath"

Willa looked at me "why?"

"Because I'm going to give you the most amazing massage afterwards. I'll make the bubbles extra big"

"You don't have to do that-

Kissing her to shut her up I pulled away "I do, I want to"

Running up the stairs I began to run Willa a bath, making sure the temperature was perfect and that there was enough bubble bath. She absolutely loved bubbles for some unbeknown reason. I made sure to even put a bath bomb in there, it had glitter in it and smelt like lavender.

Willa POV

Evan lead me to the bathroom where I saw the most gigantic pile of bubbles in the bath; almost toppling out. "Evan my god I didn't need this many bubbles"

"I wanted to make sure I put in too many than too less" He deadpanned which made me smirk. "You amaze me.."

"Did you want to help undress me too?" I asked softly which caught Evan's attention. He nodded eagerly, peeling off my attire with haste. My naked body now getting goosebumps from the cold. "You're so sexy.." Evan purred as he put my hair over my shoulder and kissed my neck.

Nibbling my lower lip I flickered my eyes between the bath and him "you can join me? It's a massive bath"

"Big enough for three" I continued with a hearty laugh.

Evan laughed back "I would absolutely love to" he then pulled his own clothes off leaving him naked; I couldn't help but swallow my saliva. "You tell me I'm sexy but look at you" I gushed with wide eyes.

"Oh stop it will you" Evan flushed, both of us now getting into the bath and enjoying the warmth of the water. "Evan, you know you said you hate Christmas right ?"

Evan nodded whilst rolling his eyes "I don't hate it I just don't-

Grabbing a handful of bubbles I placed them around Evan's chin and upper lip which made me instantly buckle over in fits of tears. "Well now you're the one and only Santa Claus"
