Chapter 8: Mini Surprises

I stayed a little longer at the park. Karkat had left a little while ago and I just sat there swinging.

Then I saw Karkat coming back with Gamzee.

I waved at them and Gamzee waved back.

Gamzees arm was on Karkats shoulder and Karkat looked upset.

I knew something was wrong.

They entered the park and Gamzee sat on the swing next to and Karkat sat next to him.

"Hi guys." I removed a speaker from my ear.

"Hey (Y/n)." Gamzee took out a Faygo and began to drink it.

I looked around the park and decided to ask Gamzee if there was anything wrong with Karkat.

"Hey Gamzee?" I looked at him.

"Yea?" He asked.

"Do you know if there is anything wrong with Karkat, or what's wrong with Karkat?" I said quietly.

"Oh um, wel-honk" Gamzee was cut off by Karkats hand.

"It's nothing of your concern!" Karkat glared at the both of us. Karkat slowly removed his hand from Gamzee.

"Sorry motherfucker." Gamzee sighed.

Karkat sighed and went back to his normal position and crossed his arms.

"Like I said, don't worry about it." Karkat mumbled.

"Alright then." I sighed and checked the time.

Great I missed dinner. Oops.

"Well I'm gonna go now bye guys." I waved goodbye and they waved back.

I got home and I changed into pjs cause why not.

"Hey Drake, what did you guys have for dinner?" I sat at the counter.

"Oh nothing Ivys getting food at the store she should be here by now" He looked at the time then outside.

"Ah. What is she bringing home?" I asked.

"Surprise." Drake stuck out his tongue.

I stuck out my tongue at him then walked over to the couch and sat down.

I wonder what school is gonna be like here..

Then the door opened up and it was Ivy.

"Hey guys!" Ivy smiled and put down the groceries.

"Hello." Drake smiled then kissed Ivys head.

"Ew couples." I stuck out my tongue in disgust.

"Oh c'mon (Y/n)" Drake helped Ivy put away the groceries.

"I'm kidding." I said, "maybe."

Drake rolled his eyes and continued putting the food away.

"So what did you bring home to eat?" I asked.

"Only your favorite food." Ivy smiled.

I smiled and looked around for the food.

We finished eating (Favorite food) and Drake and Ivy went upstairs.

I checked pesterchum to see if I had any messages. Oh and what do you know, I did.

EB: hey I was wondering if you wanted to go see a movie with me and couple other friends?

CH: sure! when? I'm free :P

EB: umm tomorrow at 4

CH: ok! I'm pretty sure I'll be able to go :3

EB: awesome!

CH: who else is gonna be there?

EB: um.. me, Jade, Nepeta, Rose, Kanaya, Dave and Karkat.

CH: coolio c:

CH: what movie is it?

EB: (insert movie that you wanna see)

CH: :D awesome!

EB: so will you be able to go?

CH: most likely

EB: cool, well I'll see ya later!

CH: kk bai!

EB: :P

I looked at the time and decided to go to bed.

I woke up and checked the time.

11:30

I got up and went down stairs and made some waffles.

I looked through my phone and soon enough I finished my waffles.

I went back upstairs and got ready so I didn't have to do it later.

I put on a (f/c) hoodie and a black tank top underneath with some black and white checkered jeans.

I went in the bathroom and brushed my messy hair and put on (whatever makeup you use if not ignore dis).

I checked the time and it was 11:40.

I decided to watch TV.

Time had passed and it was 3.

I messaged John to see what the plan is with the movie stuff.

EB: yeess?

CH: so, what's the deal?

EB: hm?

EB: oh yea the movie stuff

EB: umm well me and Rose are paying for the movie and I'm gonna pick you up if you want?

CH: ok! sure you can pick me up :P

CH: when?

EB: 3:30

CH: ok! you better get going cuz it's 3 xP

EB: oh yea! shit I gotta go now bye! see ya

CH: heh bai ;3

I waited a little while and soon John was here.

I got in the car and Dave and Karkat were already in it.

"Hey guys!" I got in and sat in the back with Karkat.
