Chapter 11: More bondin time

•Karkats POV•

We sat there in silence until I decided to say something.

"Hey, (Y/n)...?" I asked trying not to sound nervous. "Hm?" She hummed in response.

"I was wondering if.... if you wanted to hang out with me sometime so we can get to know each other..?" I felt my cheeks get a little hot. Oh shit oh shit I fucked up!

"Sure!" (Y/n) smiled.

"Wait what?" I was really surprised.

"Sure, I want to hang out with you. Sounds fun!' I could tell she was fake smiling. I know one when I see one.

"What's wrong." I said blankly. She looked really confused. "I said, what's wrong?" I crossed my arms and she looked away.

"It's nothing.." She was staring at the ground and her eyes started watering. "It's personal.." She mumbled.

I then wrapped my arms around her not thinking about the consequences. "I know how you feel." I mumbled.

Then I felt something wet on my shoulder.

•Your POV•

He was hugging me.

Holy mother of cows.

"I know how you feel." I heard him mumble.

I then just burst into tears and wrapped my arms around him. I couldn't help it.

I've been keeping in all this anger, all this sadness, all these tears. Something just triggered it I guess.

I was sitting there sobbing on Karkats shoulder and his arms were still around me. I didn't want to let go. I then felt his grip get tighter and sniffling.

Was Karkat crying? I hugged him tighter too.

Two idiots, sitting there crying on each others shoulders in the middle of a mall.

After a little while we finally let go and looked at each other in each others eyes.

Then I started laughing. I couldn't help it.

"Why the fuck are you laughing?" Karkat rolled his eyes and sniffled again.

"I really don't know." I smiled.

"Well it's creepy, stop." He crossed his arms.

"Ok, ok fine." I stuck out my tongue at him.

We had another awkward silence ten I decided to speak up.

"So when do you wanna hang out. And where?" I asked.

"Oh well I don't really know. We can just meet at the park tomorrow at 12?" He said.

"Sure." I nodded in agreement and soon the others were done looking at things.

•Timeskip•

I got home and I flopped on me bed.

I can't wait for tomorrow. It's gonna be fun. I know it.

I then decided to log onto pesterchum to see who was on. Sigh, no one.

I turned on my laptop and decided to watch Netflix.
