Chapter 10: The Movie and Mall

John stopped the car and I stretched.

We got out of the car and I saw the others were already here.

"Hey guys!" John said and we walked up to them.

"Hi!" Jade smiled.

"You guys already got your tickets I see?" John asked. "Yup." Jade smiled.

John went over and payed for our tickets and we went to get some popcorn, candy and some soda.

•Timeskip•

We got our things then entered the theater. We went to the top row and we were the only people here.

"Sweet only people! We will be able to talk and be somewhat loud." I smiled and sat next to Nepeta.

It went Kanaya, Rose, John, Dave, Jade, Nepeta, me, Karkat. ((For those of you who were wondering))

The movie started and I already got bored. Why must this movie have a boring beginning? I looked around and Nepeta seemed to enjoy it.

I leaned back and glanced at Karkat who had his arm on the armrest/cup holder and his hand was propping his head up and his eyes were closed.

Is he sleeping? I wondered and stretched and 'accidentally' bumped him to see if he was awake.

"What do you want?" Karkat mumbled with his eyes still closed.

"I was just stretching that's all." I said innocently.

"Whatever." He mumbled then got up and stretched and probably on purpose, knowing him, hit my face.

"Oops I'm sorry." He said sarcastically his eyes now open. I simply just stuck my tongue out at him and he rolled his eyes and smirked.

•Karkat POV•

I know she hit me on purpose so I hit her back.

She was actually a little adorable.. I then shook my head. Nope don't start thinking about that kind of stuff. Your already to fucking depressed about things and don't need to break or get your heart broken. Again.

I sighed then looked back at her. She was also looking at me and then she quickly turned her head away and tried hiding her blushing.

I smirked and leaned back. Maybe, just maybe I could try just once more..? No! I can't. I just need to stop thinking about the girl that is right next to me. That's gonna be so easy. I rolled my eyes to myself.

I could just try one more time. Then that's it! No more. I just need to get to know her a little better that's all.

The movie was over and we exited the movie theater.

"That was actually a good movie." I smiled.

"Meh it was ok. Not the best." Dave sighed.

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes and smiled.

We decided to go to the mall since there was nothing better to do than go home. Plus it was fun hanging out with some friends.

We got to the mall. Kanaya and Rose pratically disappeared into the clothing and fabric stores. Then Nepeta found pet stores and we decided it was safe to have Jade go with her.

Then there was four. John and Dave decided to check out some video games so then I went along.

Karkat had nothing better to do so he just sat down at the fountain and listened to music.

I looked and there was no good video games. I had half of them and the other half were either I played them and it was crappy or it was for like a 5 year old.

I left and decided to give Krakat some company.

"Hey." I sat down next to him and he took out one of his earbuds.

"Hi." He sighed.

We just sat there in silence for a little while.
