6. His reluctant bride (part 3)

October

Three months had passed after the engagement and now it was time for the highly anticipated wedding.

The wedding ceremony went off without a hitch. Leticia looked every inch a queen in her white and lace wedding gown. Her veil was 6 feet long and carried by 6 bridesmaids and nestled on top of her head was a beautiful diamond tiara that Joseph made for her as one of his wedding presents. Joseph looked regal in his royal robes and crown. The church was filled to the brim with everyone wanting to get a glimpse at the royal couple.

Just before they were about to exchange vows, a frazzled Diego came with papers, running up the right side of the pews, around the baptismal font to whisper something to the priest. Seriously Diego! What the hell is it now! The priest told the audience to remain calm, he had some words of wisdom for the couple that he needed to express in private. Leticia had a feeling this would happen and followed along quietly until they were in a small office with the door shut. "¡Jesus Cristo Diego! What are doing running like a madman at our wedding?! What's the issue?" Diego was too scared to speak, but let the priest tell the news. "Your Majesty, upon briefly scanning this birth certificate and other legal documents that Diego brought, your bride is Leticia Theresa Maria Rose Isabella of Castile. Her lineage stems from the house of Trastamara. Technically she's queen of the Castilians in her own right. With your marriage you both would unify the country (the kingdoms of Castile and Aragon), into one successful kingdom." Joseph looked at all three of them in shock, but then burst out laughing. 

Leticia looked at Joseph puzzled as to why he wasn't mad about her hiding her royal identity. "Diego as soon as you mentioned her to me, I had my own scholars and researchers do a background check on her lineage, so I already knew she was royalty. Her father showed me her family signet ring as further proof when I wrote the marriage banns." "Joseph, you knew this whole time?! Why didn't you tell me?!" "Our courtship was a test of your loyalty to me, and I didn't want to blow your cover and tick off your uncle who's trying to undermine me. Plus, I need you to give that sweetbread recipe I'm starving! In the end, your heart is true and committed to me my love." She blushed and was about to swoon until the priest said, "Now that this is settled, we are in agreement of this union between you both?" They both answered yes looking at one another with their eyes full of passion. "Outside to the altar, let's not make the people wait any longer!" They all went outside and continued with the ceremony.

A couple of hours later...

Evening 7pm

After all of the festivities it was time to consummate the marriage. Leticia was nervous and talked with her mother and lady in waiting Maya before she had to join Joseph in his room. Maya was putting the finishing touches on her night dress and robes, while her mother held her hands and spoke softly. "My Leticia, it's time to perform your marital duty. It's a special time for you and your husband. What's bothering you dear?"  "Mama is it true that the Privy Council will be in the room watching? Am I supposed to just lay there while those crusty old men watch?" "Yes, it's customary for them to be there to ensure its consummated properly. You might feel a little pain at first when he breaks your hymen. Your husband will help you relax and enjoy yourself.  He will be gentle with you." "I'm not doing it with a room full of people, it's disgusting! How did you go through with it?" "Oh, your father had them wait outside on our wedding night otherwise he would've fired them all if they interrupted. Plus, he gave me extra wine, so I was tipsy!" "Seriously mom! You were drunk on your wedding night?!" "No, I wasn't drunk, just a little buzzed, and I needed it since I was younger than you when I was married to your father." "Okay, so a little pain and then the lovey-dovey stuff?" "Yes dear. Oh, and another thing is you'll have to do this more than once in order to conceive an heir." "Maya told me that part earlier this morning getting me into my wedding gown. So, my monthly courses will stop when I conceive correct?" "Yes dear, but- oh my, it's 20 after 7 and the council is waiting! We must be going Leticia!" They left and proceeded to Joseph's bedchamber.

Leticia and her mother said a quick prayer before she entered the room and shared a quick hug. "Just relax my Letty, everything will be fine." Then she entered the chamber to find it empty, but the room was beautiful. There were candles lit around the gigantic four poster bed and rose petals on top of the sheets. She relaxed a little bit knowing he was nearby. Just as she sat on the bed, Joseph, the Privy Council, and the priest entered the room. He smiled at her, and the priest blessed them, and they prayed in front of the council. After the prayers were said, Joseph had Maya and Diego close the curtains surrounding the bed, so they were shrouded from view. Leticia froze in panic and grabbed Joseph's hand for comfort. He looked at her and nodded, knowing what she wanted without saying a word. "Gentlemen of the council, you may leave us." "But my lord it's tradition to be present at the consummation ceremony!" "Diego if you and the council don't leave in the next 5 seconds, I'll have your heads on spikes! Am I making myself clear? I'll have Lady Maya bring the proof shortly afterwards." "Yes, your majesty. May we wait outside the chamber?" "Yes, now go before I lose my nerve!" They left quickly not wanting to further aggravate the King. 

Now that they were finally alone, they breathed a sigh of relief. They both stripped naked and quickly laid down under the covers, holding each other close. Joseph kissed her and then moved his head down between her thighs. He kissed each them softly before moving closer to her sex. She gasped as he put his mouth on her and slowly moved his tongue over her clitoris. Leticia moaned softly, as he put his tongue inside her and started to pick up the pace. Oh my heavens he's going to make me cum again! She started bucking her hips against his mouth as he continued his ministrations. He groaned with lust as she started to shake against him, which meant she was close. Leticia was nervous about the council hearing her, so she covered her mouth with a pillow to soften her moans as she orgasmed into Joseph's mouth. 

Joseph climbed back on top of her and tore the pillow from her hand. He lowered himself in between her legs whispering, "Are you ready my love? This will only hurt for a little bit. Just stay calm and keep your eyes on me." Leticia nodded and felt him spread her legs wider to accompany his large member. He wrapped her legs around his waist as he started to enter her slowly. He stopped once he felt her hymen and paused waiting for her to give him permission. Leticia grabbed his face and gave him a deep kiss as he moved forward breaking her hymen and thrusting himself in deeper. "Oh god!", she cried out as she felt a searing pain from the penetration. She didn't expect him to be huge, and it burned a little. Joseph stayed still for a few minutes wanting her to adjust to his girth. She looked down at their entwined limbs and laughed. "Seriously, that's all we had to do?" "Honey this is only the beginning, come here." he kissed her and started rolling his hips back and forth moving inside her. "Oh Joseph, Yes!", she cooed while he continued making love to his wife. 

A little while later Joseph brought Leticia into his bathroom to freshen her up and rang for Lady Maya to tidy the room. Lady Maya came in and quickly stripped the bed seeing the evidence of the consummation in the middle of the sheets. She put those sheets into the basket and donned the mattress with fresh ones. The king came into the room with his robes on as Lady Maya finished dressing the bed. "I entrust you to keep an eye on her after our conjugal visits. Please report to me if anything changes." "As you wish your majesty. Is there anything else that you require tonight?" "No Lady Maya, that will be all and thank you for your discretion." She bowed and left the room quickly not wanting to make the council members wait any longer. 

Lady Maya entered the small sitting room where the council members were, and the room went quiet. She held up the soiled sheets and said, "Gentlemen the consummation ceremony of our king and queen is now complete. May the Lord bless this union with happiness and future heirs." The men clapped with approval. In the far corner of the room Leticia's mother Maria breathed a sigh of relief. The hardest part was over now. Hopefully soon an heir would be born.
