~Hollow Falls~

Chapter 1: A new beginning

Being alone was all she knew until they crashed. But there in that moment she knew everything was going to be ok. A new chapter in her life was about to begin with the parents she always dreamed of having.

Hi!, my name is kai. I'm 15 and female. My parents died when I was around 2 by a car crash, I wasn't in the car, I was with my grandpa, now care taker since he's the only family I have left. Grandma died of the flu and I don't know about the rest of the family. Me and grandpa live in Hollow Falls, a place where it's haunted to the point people have abandoned the town. So, it's actually a "Ghost Town". With that the building have started to fall and grandpa didn't have the money to rebuild all of the houses. I've been saving up money since I was 13. At school I'm... well let's just say..people aren't fond of me because of where I live and how I act because I like "weird stuff". And grandpa can't do anything because he's already on oxygen, awake and moving plus I don't wanna give stress and the school agrees with me so, some of the teachers help the best they can. Other then that, Today is my grandpa 83rd birthday.

So I started to make his birthday present which is a photo frame of our favorite moment. Once I was done with the frame, I picked up our photo. The photo was me at 5 or 6 on my grandpa's shoulders holding cotton candy and wearing an Alien hat. I laugh at the memory's of we had before he got supper sick and had to be on oxygen.

When I was about to put the photo in the frame I see a bright orange-ish light coming from my window, I stand up from where I was making the frame and then I hear a very loud "CaSH" with wind and dirt hitting against my window. I start to run to my grandpa's room which was across the hallway. I almost slip down the stairs by running but I made it to my grandpa's room. He was OK. He was just reading a book but was a little supersized. Asked if he was OK and all he said was "I'm a-OK kai, sweetty". I sighed in relief and then I started to run to the back door. I ran though the stairs down the other hallway passing the second bathroom and the small library, entering the living room. Then I ran into the dinning room, and kitchen and opened the back door to see what just crashed into my backyard. I start to walk closer, on high alert with my bat called thumpper that I grabbed when I ran past the little space under the stairs that was across the bathroom. I was about 16 or 17 feet away from whatever just crashed in my backyard and the THING started to OPEN! I jumped back in supersize and got ready to swing to whatever was coming out. Two females popped out from where the thing opened, then, I realize the thing was an UFO! I was still on high alert but lot's of questions popped in my head like "are you aliens?" or "what or why are you here? You try to take over the world or something?"

All I knew was that this would be a new chapter in my life and I was ready to explore it with these 2 wonderful females.
