"Heyy! I got a job for you two!" Hanako chirps as Kou jerks his head to face the ghost, as Yashiro sighs, having accepted her fate long ago, as Kou is shaken from his stance. "We gotta summon a spirit!~"
"Eh?" Yashiro replies frankly as Kou begins to point fingers at the ghost and Hanako gently laughs, "Hey!!! I'm a damn exorcist!"
"Such irony, right?" Hanako laughed as he lay a piece of paper with Japanese letters on his lap and flipped a coin on his thumb, which Kou grabbed. Yashiro and Kou inched closer to get a better look as Kou inclined his head. "What is this?" He says with beads of sweat.
"You don't know? Some exorcist you are." Hanako scoffed, "This was a very popular Japanese game from the Meiji Era for divinations!" Hanako claims as Yashiro looked at Kou reluctantly.
"We basically have to put the penny in the center then we can ask the spirit questions, that's how people played it." Hanako says, "I- Like Ouija?"
"Yep!!"
"Soo, what's your reason for us trying to summon this spirit?" Kou asks as Hanako groans, "Fewer questions, more actions!" He rejoiced as the bathroom door abruptly closed Kou placed the penny in the center of the paper with their pointer fingers retaining the coin."Ask...any question?" Yashiro remarks as she musters the guts to inquire loudly, "When will I find the love of my life?!" She yelled as Hanako and Kou shook.
The coin's unexpected impact pulled them toward the letters they were using to spell out, "N...A...I...V...E" Hanako says as Yashiro screams in distress, "N-Naive?! I can't be that naive!?" The coin dragged itself to the answer yes as Yashiro shed crocodile tears as Kou tried to console her, Hanako shook his head as he became more serious, "Okay okay, no more playing."
"How are you Former No.2?" Hanako inquires, while Kou and Yashiro glance at him, stunned. "Wait wait wait- What?! But- I thought Yako and the Misaki Stairs are the ones in possession on the Second seat?" Kou asks frantically.
"Hmmmm. Yeah, Yako wasn't the Second Mystery. This Kokkuri Game was more popular among the high schoolers your age!" Hanako claims as their gaze is drawn to the coin, waiting for the force to tug them to an answer.
The coin pulls itself to the characters in order to spell out a pleasant phrase, but Hanako had other thoughts when she attempted to call this spirit. He smirked to himself and motioned for Kou and Yashiro to remove their fingers from the coin as only his finger was left. "Now then, why don't you show yourself, Kokkuri?"
A moment of silence echoed as Kou and Yashiro remained tight, fearing the spirit wouldn't devour once summoned. Hanako eventually pulled away from the coin as he got up before the coin hurled itself aside as Kou shouted and Yashiro retreated away.
"ꅐꑛꋫ꓅ ꋫ ꁹꐇꂑꌚꋫꁹꏸꍟ...(What a nuisance...)" The distorted voice resonated as Kou slid away from Hanako, who stood there motionless. "H-H-Hanako! What's happening?!" Hanako smirked as Yashiro yelled.
"You're about to meet my very old friend, Kokkuri!"
He chirped as smoke formed and swirled around the room, shattering the mirrors, and sinister chuckling and moaning can be heard as the female figure finally unveiled herself, with her fatigued (e/c) eyes, (h/c) (h/l) hair, and white sleeveless blouse, a black coat with long sleeves hung over her arms and lazily put just at her chest line, a thick little fox tail, shorts with thigh belts fastened on with black stockings that were virtually shredded, and hefty boots completed the look.
"Or should I say..."
She conjured her massive scythe, blazing blue flames as it inched closer to the two high schoolers, while Hanako pulled her arm defensively, an amused smirk on his face as she turned to the ghost.
"Y/n L/n, A Former Student of Kamome Gakuen. Hey! You're certainly well!" Hanako says.
