"Aah...such a cute child."

Y/n giggled to herself as the kimono trailed along her steps, the little vision she saw of Teru and Kou's young sister was a rather lovely sight, she had to admit as the water reached to her ankles as she watched the apparitions travel along attempting to rescue themselves.

She lifted her hand and gazed at it until someone placed their hand on hers, and then a pitch-black hole appeared in the sky, sucking up the Far Shore Bound and becoming larger.

"Hey, what are you doing? Do you want to disappear as much?" She giggled gently and looked at her closest friend. "Ah...Honorable-No. Hanako."

"Come on. Let's go together and run. This boundary is about to disappear after all." Hanako replies as he lifts Aoi's hand and her eyes widen, "It's you...The one with Akane." She mumbled till Hanako dragged the two girls along with him to the train line cart as Y/n watched the apparitions one by one knowing they had all vanished.

Y/n takes a seat next to Hanako, who is seated across from Aoi. "It's the last train, they said. I guess we're lucky, huh?" Y/n says, sighing and leaning over to gaze out the window. Hanako placed a palm on hers and shrugged as she observed the boundaries break and engulf itself in a hole.

"Aoi Akane. Am I right?" Y/n inquired, turning her head to look at the purple-haired girl. When the girl nodded, Y/n offered her a closed-eye grin and a faltering giggle. "Akane...He must be very lucky to like you."

"You can never see him again once we reach our destination. You'll become one of us." As Aoi gaped, Y/n laughed as her eyes opened and Hanako sandwiched her hands with his. "A true apparition."

Aoi gasped a little and frowned as she looked down. Y/n and Hanako exchanged glances before lowering their hands and unwinding as Y/n began the discourse. "This certainly...takes me back." She says.

"How did your mortal life turn out, Aoi?"

The girl took a big breath, shook her head, and remained motionless with a deadly expression on her face. "Honorable No. 7 and No. 2! Do you mind if we talk about romance for a second?" Aoi chirped as Y/n turned away with a dejected expression and sighed.

"You and Honorable No. 7 can talk about it. I have no interest in such topics." She groaned as Hanako poked her side, "E-Eh?! Are you trying to leave me out?" He frowned as Y/n attempted to push him aside. "No no. I don't like anyone." She tossed her head back on the train seat and said while folding her hands to her chest.

"Eh? No. 2? You like someone?" Aoi remarked as Y/n's cheeks reddened and she shook her head in denial, "N-No way. Unable to love someone as an apparition, even though I did in my previous life and he likely knows who he is." She huffed.

"How about that Council President?" Hanako quips cynically, pinching her cheeks as he winced when Y/n grabbed his wrist angrily and glared at him, "No. You! You told me to serve him and I'm just merely doing my part." She sulked.

"No! It is true. The rumors about No. 2 and President-"

"You're getting it wrong!" Hanako was somewhat taken aback as Y/n shouted, clutching her chest in shock as her fingers shook.

It was true that apparitions do have hearts, but their ambitions are the lowest of the lowest because they are self-centered and give up so easily. Hanako tried to save Yashiro so that Aoi was present, and Y/n tried to change the future as Hanako did to his past self so that Teru could relax and never have to worry about Y/n's existence again.

Y/n...loved and cherished Teru even if she was an apparition and secretary to him.

She recalled every single one of the times she had with her president, including the most absurd ones. As much as her heart craved him, she aches that she won't ever get the chance to see him again.
