"What's... huh?"
Looking up at the taller president in front of her, Y/n inquired in a blank, apparently bewildered by whatever idea Teru had just presented to her. The girl had little interest in school festivals because she had not experienced any during the school year before her death.
"I'm assuming you've never had such before you died?" Teru solicited confirmation, to which the ghost responded with a shake of her head.
"Interesting, what does one do in a school event?"
As she strolled behind him, she inquired, saying that although Y/n isn't familiar with school festivals, she's ready to learn because she's now in a position to be informed about school events. Given the length of time it had been since her death, she didn't have numerous venues throughout her lifetime.
"Alright. I can explain it to you." With a small, comforting grin, Teru said. The boy was prepared to provide an overview of the ghost that had sparked his interest.
Teru continued glancing at the shorter apparition as they walked side by side, wondering whether she had always been this tiny. Not that it seems to upset her. His curiosity got the better of him.
As his gaze returned to the ground, he noticed that, aside from his insatiable curiosity, she was Miyoko Kajiashiki rather than the ghost. At their school, as their secretary, nevertheless serves as Teru's right-hand man, sparing Akane the headache of holding the vice presidential position.
His eyes drifted to stillness after a long discourse. Since the two of them had been seeing each other for a while now and he didn't want to be the guy asking for advice, Teru took matters into his own hands and wanted to do it his way. Even though the two of them were feeling the same way about each other, they still needed to be at least assertive toward one another.
With a swift motion, Teru grabbed the ghostly figure with his hand, pulling her body gently in the direction of his without frightening her in the slightest. All you could do was stare up at the President, who stood tall over you and approached you in a direct yet ambiguous manner, leaving you wondering.
"Is there.. something on my face, President?" Was all you asked.
Teru froze in place, blinking himself back to reality. What had he done recently? Was he insane? Why did he just nudge you in his direction? Did he... behave independently or subconsciously? He's getting ahead of himself here.
"I- I apologize. I acted on my own, Y/n."
With an apologetic sigh of discomfort, Teru nearly expressed himself in a discouraging way right away. All you could do was blink in shock, then cover your lips to stifle a little chuckle. You were undoubtedly taken aback by the gesture, yet it wasn't unpleasant.
"It's alright, Teru."
With a little pout, Teru gazed back down at you and slowly opened his eyes before gently petting your cheek. "It's... a new feeling so, thank you. You don't need to apologize." You replied.
The President only remained silent for a little period before a gloomy expression appeared on his face. He then moved in closer and planted a peck on your lips, yet he was curious. What was it like for one to kiss an apparition for the first time?
Even though Y/n had constraints on how much she could feel in this form, such warm, soft lips kissed her lightly—not violently. Could she even recall a time when she had been kissed with true affection rather than being made to feel so uncomfortable that she would have winced?
Absolutely. Not.
"... Thank you, President. I like your display of affection."
The ghost smiled sweetly at the man who was taller than her. His beautiful, soft lips curled into a grin that made him feel so warm and fuzzy on the inside that he secretly smiled a little as he gazed down at her with affection.
