Y/n’s POV

I woke up and did usual routine and saw my mom isn't at home I guess she left for work already, I asked the maid aka Mrs.Lee she worked half her life and she's like my second mother and she also has a son called Seokmin I don't really talk to him but we get along.

"Mrs.lee where did mom go so early?" I asked Mrs.lee as she looked a bit worried

"Well..Dear your Mother left to go to Paris for a business trip and I'm worried she'll tire herself out and you how much I still care for your mom"She said still looking worried and I forgot mention she also is the same age as my mom, they grew up together but my grandmother pushed they both away from each other because my grandmother didn't want my mom to be friends with 'A peasant'.

"I'm pretty sure she'll be fine Mrs.lee, And I know she's still strong"I assured Mrs.lee from worrying.

I went to the dining room and ate my breakfast

I finished eating my breakfast and went to school after the driver drove me to school. As I entered school I immediately went to Mrs.Jae's office.

I opened the door to her office "Yeah, I know wait , I have work, bye"She said hanging up on the phone, "Good morning Dear what do you need?"She greeted me.

I took a deep breath and said "Mrs.Jae I think you made a mistake on the score at yesterday's debate."I stated with a smile thinking she will finally come to her senses and give me my win.
She chuckled, Lady , this isn't a joke, just give me back my win.

"Dear, Minghao had a better statement than you and the score isn't a mistake, Accept your defeat Dear." She said as I clenched my fist, I went out of her office and I couldn't accept defeat that Minghao will have the wrath of me.

then Ahnjong came next to me hugging my arm "Hey, Wait why is your fist clenched?"She asked as she let go of my arm.

"Minghao defeated me at yesterday's debate."I said while walking aside with Ahnjong to our way to class

“Soo? Accept your defeat you can always try again.”Ahnjong said, What?! No way just no that win is mine not his and not ever!

Today I couldn't help I got defeated by this peasant student that just came and destroyed me I can’t anymore I need my revenge!

After school, I went to the school library to study for my Math test but I saw Minghao reading a book near a window near the table I'm going to study at, the nerve of this man.

I approached him and said,“Hey, stop following me everywhere, you already have my win and just leave me alone”I nearly raised my voice because of the wrath that had been building inside of me.

“What? Look you think im following you? Let's see, you were in all my classes and you kept staring at me so I think you're the one who's following me”He put down the book he was reading at my table and smirked and crossed his arms.

“The audacity of you saying that I followed you! And I kept staring because you stole my win at yesterday’s debate.”I defended myself

"Oh this is what this about the debate, Look why is it even important for you to win it, I won it fair and square because I had a better statement than you so just accept it!"He said but he had a point on what he said: why is it important for me to win?Maybe because I just want My Mom to notice and love me like how my dad did when he was alive…

I turned away from Minghao because what he said made me think of my dad, who I miss terribly. I went to the cemetery where he is buried and I sat down on the grass ready to talk to my dead loving dad, I talked to dad about everything that happened these days I even cry just talking to my dad because he isn't here to comfort me or listen to me.

It was evening I talked with my dad the whole afternoon instead of studying, I went home happy after talking to my dad.

Seokmin unexpectedly gave me a hug as I opened the door to my home.
As he let go he blushed still flustered from the hug “Sorry y/n, but we were so worried the poor driver kept looking for you but there was a boy that told us you went to your dad.”He said but I realized who was the boy?. As far as I am aware, I was by myself when I visited my father, but might it be Minghao? I ate dinner with Mrs.lee and seokmin and did my daily evening routine and slept in my bedroom still thinking if Minghao was the boy who followed me to the cemetery.
