Zoe's P.O.V
Andrew was a avoiding me. He had been ever since the date thing. Every time we would be in the same room or something he would quickly leave. Luke and Mia have gotten somewhat close which is good, but it makes me cringe every time I think about them. Maybe I'm just jealous. Wait! What? Me? Jealous? Never! Well, maybe. Anyway, Mia and I wanted to do some sight seeing so the boys agreed to take us on a small tour of L.A.
"Come on Mi! If you don't get down here in ten seconds I'm going to come up there and drag you!" I yell from the bottom of the stairs.
"I'm coming! Goodness gracious! No need to yell," Mia says while walking down the stairs.
"You girls ready to go?" Luke asks from the living room.
"Yuperdoodle!" Mia and I say together.
"Great! Let's go!"
It was pretty awkward because Andrew wouldn't talk to me even when I tried to talk to him. Great. Now how is he suppose to fall in love with me. Wait, that sounded self-centered. Anyways, we were just walking on the streets of L.A. when Mia stops me at a old antique shop.
"We need to go in!" She squeals.
"Why?" I ask.
"Because antique shops usually have old things that are related to mermaids" Mia says in a 'duh' tone of voice.
"Okay, let's check it out," I say to her.
She smiles and yells to the boys that we were just going to look on the shop. The nod their heads in understanding and then we walk in.
The shop was very nice and had an oldish/modern style to it which I kind of liked. There weren't many people which was also nice. It was quiet; good place to think.
"Come check this out!" Mia shouts to me from the back of the store.
I hurry to the back to find out what Mia was freaking out about.
"What is it?" I ask.
"Look at this! It's a fresilla," Mia says.
"Oh my gosh, it is!" I gasp.
Fresillas are underwater starfish and coral bracelets.
"Man! Do you remember searching for the starfish and coral with our moms before the Princealilly parade so we could make tons and throw them off our float?" Mia smiles thinking of the memory.
"To bad they're dead now," a unknown voice says.
We turn around and see Lancey and Fancey.
"What is it you want?" I ask them.
"Straight forward much. No hello, how are you?" Fancey scoffs.
"Seriously, what do you want?" Mia questions again.
"We know that you're mermaids. We know your fate and let's just say it's gonna be fulfilled soon," Lancey chuckles.
"What are you talking about?" I ask.
"You're gonna die! And there's nothing you can do to stop it! Trying to steal our men is just gonna get you killed faster," Fancey blurts.
"The boys will never love you. They are under a forever love spell which means they can only love us or die. You wouldn't want that would you?" Lancey says in a babyish tone.
I growl at her.
"You're lying," I say through gritted teeth.
"Why don't we wait and find out?" Fancey says smirking.
"Your times running out mermaids. So make the most of it before the real pain starts to happen," Lancey says and then they walk out of the store.
"We need to figure out what a forever love spell is," I state.
"And how they know our fate and when the time is nearing," Mia adds.
I look at her and shudder.
"That means a trip to the UnderRealm," I say.
