Zoe's P.O.V
That dinner was horrible. The boys had brought the sirens to the beach house. I swear, if I didn't have the ocean to listen to to I would have walked right into the boys rooms and killed the sirens myself. Mia and I talked to Hermey about it. He said we should go and ask our dads so that's what we're going to do.
"Where are you girls going?" Andrew asks coming out of the kitchen.
"To the beach," Mia states.
"Oh wait for us! We'll all go," he smiles.
"Who's we?" I ask.
"Luke, Lancey, Fancey and I," Andrew answers.
"Yah," I say so enthusiastically.
Andrew runs up the stairs.
"What are we going to do! We have to talk to our dads and if we don't we might not get another chance!" Mia whisper/shouts.
Today was the Harvest or the coming of new born children. It's one day in the year everyone gets to spend with their family.
"I know. The sirens are going to mess everything up," I state.
"We're ready!" Luke shouts running down the stairs with Fancey.
As they pass Fancey hisses. Her pupils dilate and her eyes turn red.
She's going to feed off him, I mind say to Mia.
Another thing. Sirens are like vampires. They need human blood to survive, or they need a limb (yummy, delicious human body parts), either way they're vicious.
That means that their going to go some where private during their feeding time! We can go then, Mia says.
Genius. Obviously I came up with the idea but still genius! I laugh and Mia pushes me playfully.
We were sitting at the beach, reading magazines while the boys were making out the mermaid devils.
"I'm hungry, can we go and get a little snack?" Lancey asks, licking her lips at Andrew.
As if under a spell, which he kind of is, he nods his head and they walk off. I suppose that Fancey said the same thing to Luke because they also were leaving to get a 'snack.' Once they finally left I let out a huge sigh.
"Finally, let's go!" I say.
"Before we go I want to to do something," Mia says and starts to where the boys and the sirens had run off to.
I groan.
"Miaaaa!" I shout.
She was still walking. I sigh. This is going to be awful.
We made it to where the others were. Mia picks up a unfinished cup of juice (convenient eh?) and throws it at the girls. It lands on them perfectly. They turn around and glare at us. "What the hell was that for?!" Lancey screams. Fancey growls and The boys give us death stares.
"They're not changing," Mia whispers to me.
Now I get it. She was trying to see if we could expose them that way. The sirens turn to us and grab cups of water that two boys had just given them. Oh, how I hate sirens. They run at us and chuck the water at us. We were running but not fast enough. The water hit us and we were soaked. They laughed and that made everyone turn to us.
"You stupid bi-" I cut Mia off by pulling her to the ocean.
We dive in and start swimming away. I feel my tail coming out. I stop swimming for awhile and look at Mia, her face filled with pure fear.
"What is it Mia?" I ask.
"I splashed my tail," She says.
Great. I knew that it was a bad idea to bring the sirens. I give her a reassuring smile and we both start swimming to the Fourlander Kingdom.
