*Edited* Chapter 12 - Take Me to The Under Realm

Mia's P.O.V

We ran out of the shop and hurried down the streets to find the boys. 

"Where did they go?" I question out of breath.

"Something. About. Skateboards." Zoe says breathing in and out. 

I groan.

"There could be hundreds of different skateboard shops! When we were just coming near the antique shop I saw like, three so how in this world are we suppose to find them?" I ask annoyed.

"We don't. The clocks ticking, times running out and we need to find out why Fancey and Lancey are our killers and how to kill them. The only way we can is to go to The Under Realms of Pacifia. The trip to the Under Realms is a tough and long one and if we don't leave now we might never have the chance again," Zoe says.

"Shouldn't we wait until tomorrow? Daylights fading which means it must be dark there already," I say trying to put some logic into her head.

"We don't have time to wait Mia!" Zoe yells. 

"Every second we waste is a second of our lives gone! We need to get to the Under Realms now or else we might lose our chance to actually change the curse without giving up our tails," she finishes. 

I sigh. Zoe was right. If we didn't go now we might as well be dead.

"Okay, let's go," and with that started for the beach. 

Once we reached the beach we started sprinting towards the water and dove in. I could feel the water bubbling around me as my legs turn into a tail. I look down at my magenta tail and smile. I haven't had a tail in awhile. It was nice to have it back. I sway it back and forth admiring the scales that shimmered in the water. I look over at Zoe and see she doing the same with her lilac tail. We look at each other and then zoom off towards the horizon.

We'd been swimming for a few hours now when Zoe stops swimming. 

"What is it?" I ask.

"Down there is the entrance to the Under Realms" She says point towards a deep dip in the ocean floor. 

There was no light, just plain old darkness.

"Let's go," I say, grab her hand, and then we start to swim down. 

On the way down there were certain coral that had an eerie glow to them. I shiver a bit and hold on to Zo's hand a little tighter. 

"When do we know we've reached the bottom?" I ask.

"There should be two rusted gates that have the word, Pacifica on it in Merlic," Zoe answers. 

I nod and we keep swimming.

"Look there!" Zoe shouts. 

I look up and see two gates. We both swim up to the frantically and see it says, 'Pacifica" in Merlic.

"We've arrived," I say drearily. 

The gates open and we swim through. As we enter I see a horrible view. The Under Realms are where merpeople who have been banished go to. They don't die but start to decay and soon become living skeletons. The waste was an ugly green and everything was rusted. There were many at the gates trying to grab at us but we were too quick and start to sprint swim towards the Under Realms center. We reached it in no time and stared at the building. It was a reddish black colour and looked like a castle. The door was a deep red with a skull knocker on it. 

"Would you like to do the honors Zo?" I ask with an eyebrow raised while smirking.

"Sure, but if I die it's your fault," she says and then takes the knocker and hits the door with it three times.
