32. Work together

I looked at the man who couldn't stop flirting with Bella, a mix of irritation and protectiveness bubbling inside me.

"Kung nakakamatay lang ang titig, kanina pa nilibing si Daniel," Lily whispered as she noticed the sharpness of my gaze directed at the guy.

"Cut!" I suddenly shouted, startling everyone around us.

All eyes turned to me, confusion written on their faces.

Shit, I realized we weren’t even rolling yet.

Lily burst into laughter beside me. "God, look at your face. Seloso ka pala, direk."

Daniel is a famous actor, the brother of one of the show’s hosts. He had suddenly dropped by the studio to meet Bella, his ultimate crush, and it made me want to punch his pretty face for openly flirting with my girl.

I strode over to them, sliding my hand around Bella's waist possessively.

She smiled up at me, and my heart swelled.

"I told Daniel you are my boyfriend," she said, a playful glint in her eyes.

"Ohhh," Daniel replied, feigning surprise.

I leaned closer to Bella, whispering in her ear, "Official boyfriend?" I asked, wanting to hear her say it.

"Yes," she whispered back, her breath warm against my skin.

If it weren't for the people around us, I would have kissed her right then and there.

"So, pupunta ka sa premiere night ng movie namin ni Hailey?" Daniel asked, trying to keep the conversation going.

"Yes. Nag-message na sa akin si Hailey kanina. She invited me and Zayne," Bella responded, her tone cheerful.

A tight knot of jealousy formed in my stomach, but I pushed it aside.

Moments later, we resumed shooting, and I felt a swell of pride as I watched Bella interact effortlessly with everyone. She was so much fun to talk to, and the three hosts couldn’t get enough of her charm.

After we wrapped up for the day, Bella waited for me to finish in the studio before we left together.

"Great job today," I told her as we stepped outside, the evening air refreshing against our skin.

"Thanks! I had so much fun," she replied, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.

We decided to visit Yanie after work, eager to share our day and catch up with her.

"Hello, Zayne! We meet again," Yanie greeted us as we entered their hotel suite.

She and Zayne embraced warmly, and I smiled at the sight.

"Hi, Michael," Zayne said, nodding to Yanie's American boyfriend.

"Hi, Zayne! Nice to meet you again," Michael replied with a friendly smile.

We made our way to the balcony, where Yanie had already ordered coffee and some snacks. The atmosphere was relaxed, and we enjoyed catching up together.

But then Yanie suddenly pulled me back inside the living room. "He can't take his eyes off you. In love nga siya sayo," she whispered, a teasing smile on her face.

I grinned and glanced back at Zayne, who was indeed watching me intently from the balcony.

"I'm happy for you, Belle. Finally, nakikita na kitang totoong masaya," Yanie said sincerely.

"And I'm happy for you, Yan. He's not that bad, right?" I replied, gesturing to Michael.

"Well, I love him. And trusting him is also loving him," she said, her eyes shining with affection. "By the way, it's a boy."

My eyes widened in surprise as I watched her gently caress the curve of her belly. "Really? Oh my God!"

I rushed forward to embrace my friend, overwhelmed with joy for her.

"Sana babae ang magiging first baby niyo ni Zayne. Para tuloy ang arranged marriage," Yanie joked, laughing.

Yanie chuckled, pulling back from our hug. "But Belle, I won't be able to stay with you while I'm pregnant. Makahanap ka ba ng assistant habang wala ako?"

"Don't worry about that. Christian's niece will be with me," I reassured her.

"Okay then. Come on, balikan na natin sila. Tingnan mo, panay lingon ni Zayne sa'yo. God, hindi ba kinikilig pussy mo?" she teased, winking at me.

I couldn't help but burst into laughter. "I do admit he always makes me wet."

"Oh, thank God! Hindi katulad noong Douglas na cheater na nga, hindi ka pa napapawet," she shot back, making me laugh even harder.

We had always been open with each other, sharing everything without reservation. That's how close we were. She's my best friend, my sister, and the one I promised to protect from anyone who would harm her.

As we returned to the balcony, I leaned in and kissed Zayne's cheek, and he held my hand in response, a warm smile spreading across his face.

We decided to have dinner together, the four of us, at the hotel restaurant on the second floor. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was filled with laughter and good conversation.

After we bid our goodbyes to the couple, Bella and I headed straight home, the excitement of the evening still buzzing in the air.

That night, we lost ourselves in each other once again, making love throughout the night. I was certain that Zayne would wake up the next morning with dark circles under his eyes, but I knew he wouldn’t mind a bit.

After all, moments like these were worth every sleepless night.
