Crazy how fast things go wrong,
Laughing then crying infront,
My friends saying I should forget,
How can I when I still made you smile? No one sees this tension between,
The strings we pull just to stay clean.
Kinda sad how I miss the things I hate,
Try to make it go away with fate.Sad how you still make me smile,
By just thinking of you for a while.
I would sing if I could,
Scream at you for letting me down.Throwing away our plan of the town.
The one we wanted to leave for,
Just 'cause you wanted more.
More than I could ever give,
Was it hard to pretend to like then forgive? Was it hard to go on and forget you still have the key?
Forget that we fell and finally were free.
It's been a year and I'm still dreaming,
I guess you never had that feeling.
