I wouldn't want it any other way,
The end is near and we know we have to pay,
For all the pain we caused as lovers,
Happiness is still in each other.I still think of you when someone says,
'My nights are sleepless because of them.'
I still dream of your face,
And I know this had to happen. My heart aches for you still,
And I know this never will,
Be going the right way for us, dear
How you left me alone in the rain to fear.Wondering if you would ever call back,
Even when you left me standing as a wrack,
I hope you feel better now that it's over,
And that you wished that we were closer.
