Your life was rough life. Your parents died in a fire started by demons which you were not surprised about since your mother and father where hunters. The worst was you watched them die. You were the only child so you had no place to go after that until a man named Bobby Singer took you in. He raised you to be a better hunter. Then you met Sam and Dean Winchester. They treated you like the little sister they never had and you treated them like the brothers you never had. You watched a lot of people die from monsters and demons and never got the right amount of sleep. On one hunt with the Winchesters, you met the trickster himself, which you later found out he was the archangel Gabriel. Gabriel always bugged you and the brothers but you liked it when he was involved. He made your job actually fun. You helped him sometimes with playing pranks on the brothers. But there is one thing you never told him or the boys or Bobby. You sometimes get terrible flashbacks and nightmares about your parents death. This day the flashbacks where 10x worse...
"(Y/N)! You coming? I found us a job!" Dean yelled up the stairs of Bobby's house, after he grabbed his bag.
"I.. I think I'll stick this one.. out Dean, I'm feeling a little *sniff* under the weather.." You said trying to kind the sadness out of your voice.
"Alright.. You'll be back later... Hopefully." He mumbled the last part then walked out the door.
You put a record on the record player you had in your room and raised the volume. Bobby wasn't home at the moment. Music always makes you feel better on gloomy days and you always put the volume on high when Bobby wasn't home.
You were listening to Elvis Presley, yes the king of rock 'n' roll. You had a couple of records of his. Gabriel knew about your small obsession with Elvis and after he saw you cry or smile to some of his songs on bad days, he had an idea.
You hugged your pillow and cried as Are you lonesome tonight? was playing when the record suddenly stopped. "Wha..." You brought your head up and looked towards you'll recored player to see none other then Gabriel.
He was sitting on a stool with a acoustic guitar resting in his lap, his hair was styled like Elvis's ducktail and he wore a black leather jacket with a white t-shirt underneath and black jeans.
He actually kinda looked like Elvis.
You give a small smile and a confused look, wiping some tears away. He just grins and starts playing.
"Are you lonesome tonight?
Do you miss me tonight?
Are you sorry we drifted apart?"
You sat up more and listened to Gabriel sing. Who knew he could sing?
"Does your memory stray to a brighter summer day?
When I kissed you and called you sweetheart."
You smile more and blush slightly forgetting about your past.
"Do the chairs in your parlor seem empty and bare?
Do you gaze at your doorstep and picture me there?
Is your heart filled with pain, shall i come back again?
Tell me dear, are you lonesome tonight?"
He finished the song softly and smiled your way. You stood up and walked over to him.
"I.. didn't know you could sing." You said running you fingers through his greased hair.
"Neither did I.." You laughed slightly. "I knew you liked this song and you seemed very sad today.. so I decided I would surprise you."
"It was a very nice surprise.." He took the guitar of his lap and set it down. He pulled you into his lap. "Thank you..." You smiled.
He gently put his hand on your cheek and you rested you hand on top of his.
"Is you heart filled with pain, shall I come back again?"
He sang softly and leaned closer to you.
"Tell me dear, are you lonesome tonight?"
And finally he closed the gap between the two of you and kissed you.
Thank you, Elvis....
