You Deserve Him.

An:this is inspired by a TikTok I found on my fyp..so yeah.

James Potter was proper gone for Regulus Black. I mean, who could blame him, Regulus was absolutely beautiful.

The thing with James is that when he loves, he loves Hard. That wasn't going to change with Regulus, if anything he loved harder than anyone else.

So James, being a good boyfriend, he walked Regulus to every class, even if it was an inconvenience for him. He didn't care. He watched Regulus play quidditch, and blushed heavily while doing so. All around James was a wonderful boyfriend.

Coming from that, Regulus felt as if he didn't deserve it, he knew he didn't deserve James's affection or love. He didn't know why James wanted him in the first place. So Regulus did what he thought was the right thing to do.

"James, I don't think we should be together anymore" He had said with a bit hurt in his voice, he truly didn't want it to be this way, but he didn't deserve James's heart of gold.

"What? Regulus..what did I do? I'll fix it, anything I did, I'll fix I promise" he rushed out, feeling confused and hurt

"James, you didn't do anything..I just, I just can't do it anymore." And with that, Regulus was gone

Sirius had noticed that James wasn't smiling, or cracking jokes anymore. He didn't even want to pull pranks anymore! That was when he decided to talk to him, he was worried.

"James." Sirius said to him, James had been laying in bed with the curtains closed.

"Yes?"

"What's wrong? You haven't been the same since you and Regulus talked, did he do something? I'll talk to him-"

"No! No, he didn't do anything Sirius..he broke up with me." He said, running a hand through his messy hair, he was tearing up again.

"Oh that prick! I know why..hold on."

Sirius found a way into the Slytherin dorms, how? we'll never know

Sirius found Regulus's dorm, he barged in, finding him laying on his bed, staring at the ceiling

"Regulus Arcturus Black!" He yelled, crossing his arms

Regulus had been zoned out, regretting his decision, but he knew that it needed to be done. He simply didn't deserve James Potter and his heart of gold. So when he heard his name being yelled at by no one other than his big brother, he jumped

"What the hell do you want Sirius?" He sighed

"Why did you break up with James?" Sirius had glared at him a bit, he was overprotective over both of them, they were the closest to him, he loved them both dearly

He sighed, "why aren't you relieved Sirius? Weren't you mad anyways-"

"Regulus, I was mad but you made James happy. Now he's not, tell me why."

"I don't deserve him Sirius. I never have. He needs to be with someone better than me." He said simply, sighing, he had been trying not to cry himself, he still had a problem crying, he knew he wasn't back at that house. Some habits are harder to lose.

"Regulus. You know that is not true, stop doing this Reg! You deserve him. He deserves you. So do something about it."

"Sirius-"

"No Regulus! You guys are happy together, so be with him, you were happiest with him then I have ever seen you, I want you happy Regulus."

Regulus looked at Sirius, clearly not knowing what to say. He and Sirius have always had a complicated relationship, they were close as kids, then Sirius went to Hogwarts and everything went to shit. They of course weren't as close as they used to be, but they were closer than they had been in five years. Sirius loved his brother. He always will.

"Now, go get James back, now." Sirius smiled a bit

Regulus sighed and nodded.

Regulus to James's bed, he knew the Gryffindor common room password.

"James.." he said softly, that was all he needed to be let in, Regulus had cried a bit on the way here, he loved James, and he fucked it up.

"Reg! Hi hello, hi.." James had said quickly, Regulus in that moment forgot everything he had to do and just hugged him, tightly

"Im sorry I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry James I'm so stupid.." he said into James's neck,

"Hey.. hey it's ok, what's wrong love, tell me.." James, being the good boyfriend he is, comforted him

"I love you James. I don't deserve you and that's the reason I broke up with you, I'm so sorry James, I-"

"Regulus."

Regulus sniffled and pulled away from the hug and wiped the few tears that escaped his eyes

"I love you Regulus, you deserve me. I want you not anyone else."

And with that, James kissed him, he kissed him softly, passionately. He put all of his love into this kiss.

Regulus put everything he had in this kiss, he needed James to know just how much he loved him, because honestly, he loved James more than he knew he could love anyone. It was overwhelming at times, but he'd do anything for James Potter. Absolutely anything.

James loved him, and that was all that mattered, he had James's love. That was all Regulus truly needed. That was how Regulus Black loved, it was just how he did it.

"Hey! Just because you guys are dating doesn't mean you can make out!" Sirius had walked in halfway in, he loved that his brother and his best friend were happy, he wanted them both happy, and if they made each other happy then that was it.  Sirius loved them both dearly, it was different love of course. With Regulus it was a bit more complicated. But that was ok, because either way, Regulus was his brother, and he'd love him till his last breath, no matter when that was.
