"You think you can stop me with your own hands and a shield?" Tony asks angrily.

"I already did it once" Steve replies, breathing heavily.

"There are no distractions this time. And I'm definitely not holding back" he clentches his jaw and grips the shield tightly.

Steve is strong, definitely not a match for any human. But this time he's against Tony's suit and the resistance coming from it is incredibly strong.

"Agghhhh" Steve groans, struggling to hold onto the shield as Tony pushes it further and further away.

"You can't fight me this time, Rogers. You're paying for everything" the anger in his eyes would be clear as day if he wasn't wearing the helmet.

But the sound of his voice is enough to let Steve know he's very serious. Tony manages to take complete control of the shield and he throws it away. Steve is left without a weapon but that's not stopping him. He raises his hands in the air, covering his face and preparing them for battle.

"These won't save you" Tony says and punches them out of his way.

Steve groans in pain but brings them back up to defend himself. It only makes Tony chuckle and mock Steve for this.

"You ruined my life" Tony aggressively hits him.

"You and your secrets" he continues with even more force.

"I f*cking hate you" he punches his face so hard that Steve falls down.

Steve is bleeding through his head and mouth, his whole body feels like it's being torn apart. He's breathing quickly and deeply, trying to keep himself from falling apart. He uses his strength to stand up, after kneeling first, and then face Tony's suit again.

"I can do this all day" he says his signature line.

"But you won't" Tony lifts his leg and kicks him hard in the stomach.

The painful yell coming from Steve echoes around the place loudly. It gives Tony a special kind of satisfaction hearing that discomfort from him. So much that he continues kicking his lying down body again and again. From all the beating, Steve's body has moved a lot. He hasn't tried fighting back yet, he's collecting the last of his remaining strengths.

He finally decides it's time to make his move so he runs as fast as he can towards his shield and grabs it. He then attacks Tony's suit with it with the strength he can find, but only manages to push him a little bit backwards. All the beating has taken away some of his usual strength and Iron Man was already a tough opponent for any human.

"Cute effort" Tony mocks him again and with a movement he throws his body right into a wall, keeping his shield.

"I've had enough of you" he complains when Steve tries to walk back to him.

He raises his lasers and points them toward Steve. Before he actually uses them, he tilts his head and opens his helmet. Steve struggles with his breath and pain all around, but he looks at Tony's evil eyes closely.

"You're going to pay for this eventually, Tony" he groans.

"You're right" he loads his lasers, pointing them at Steve's body.

He doesn't use them against him just yet. Not because he feels sorry or because he regrets his actions, but because he has a different idea.

"That would be way too easy" he comments and hides the lasers away.

Steve creases his eyebrows, confused by Tony's actions. He doesn't know what to expect anymore.

"You wanted this?" Tony asks, raising the shield higher.

Steve's face hardens, realizing what Tony might have in mind. He clentches his jaw and decides to risk it all. After all, staying still wouldn't do him any good.

"Aaaggghhhh" he groans again, and against all the pain that's coming from his body he runs towards Tony.

"Take it" Tony replies and uses a lot of his strength to throw the shield right into Steve.

It hits his stomach and from all that force, it makes his body fly back right into the wall from which he started his attack against Tony. The shield practically goes through his body and gets stuck in the wall. Steve coughs blood from him mouth and struggles to breathe.

Tony walks slowly close to him and when he reaches Steve, he grabs him by the back of his hair to make him look into his eyes. He knows he doesn't have much time before Steve passes so he's quick to start speaking.

"I want you to know that this has been the most fulfilled I've felt lately" he says to Steve.

Steve can't even manage to reply but he can definitely hear Tony's words before the life vanishes off his eyes. That's when Tony lets Steve's head fall down again and join the rest of his lifeless, helpless body. He then exhales deeply, getting rid of some tension that was oppressed inside of him.

"You won't be needing that anymore I suppose" he whispers and drags the shield out of the wall, destroying Steve's body even further.

With all that satisfaction and intense feelings rushing through his body, Tony takes one last look at the bodies of the two Avengers lying there, currently broken. He has completely different opinions and feelings about the two of them though, but calmness really is the one that's winning.

When he gets back to his mansion, he takes a long hot bath to relax and then stores the shield safely again in his lab after cleaning it up. Then he takes a seat on his couch and pours himself a glass of whiskey.

"JARVIS, put some music on, buddy. This might as well be the last relaxing night either one of us enjoys for a while" he says.

"Of course, sir" the A.I. replies and immediately music starts playing.

"That's nice" Tony really enjoys the moment and casually continues his night, with the events of it running through his head non stop.
