"What's happening?" Tony opens his eyes and starts coughing.
He finds himself laying on a bed that he's not familiar with and being in a room he's never seen before. Needless to say his panic took over himself and made his heart race.
"Mr. Stark, please stay still" a woman tells him and holds his body down by his chest.
"Who are you? Where am I?" he yells in shock.
He feels his body differently. It's numb and weak, he doesn't know what's happening. More and more people show up and hold him down in his bed, causing him more panic until he finally sees a familiar face. Hela.
"Stark, relax. They're only trying to help you" she says seriously.
"Where am I?" he asks, looking straight into her eyes and hoping for an answer.
"You're still in Asgard. You've been unconscious for the last few days" she gives him the answers he needs.
He finally exhales deeply and relaxes on the bed. Some memories start coming back to him, reminding him of the events that occurred before he lost conscience.
"Are they really dead?" he asks Hela for confirmation.
"Yes" she says, smiling proudly.
Even though he's still in shock and confusion, Tony matches Hela's energy and shows her a little victory smile as well.
"Everyone out, we have things to discuss" she orders and everyone obeys and leaves the room.
Hela stands next to Tony's bed and they stay in silence for a bit. She's the one to break the silence, Tony's still recovering anyway.
"I'm the queen of Asgard now and your help hasn't been forgotten. You're welcome to stay here for as long as you want. And, of course, if you need anything on Earth you just let me know" she tells him calmly.
"With S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Avengers gone I don't think I'll have a problem on Earth" he chuckles proudly.
"Everyone's after you there, you might need some backup" she says.
"I'll be fine, thank you" he smiles.
"Get up, you need to get those legs back to work" she says and helps him stand back on his feet.
"Oh my God, I feel weird" he shakes his head after taking a few steps around the room.
"It's called rest, you haven't had it in months" Hela mocks him playfully.
"Ha ha, very funny" he acts hurt but his chuckle and smile give away his true feelings.
And those feelings are nothing other than relaxation and happiness. Yes, for the first time in months he actually feels some kind of happiness. And that's exactly why Hela catches a glimpse of his innocent smile for a couple of seconds.
"What the hell am I wearing?" he suddenly asks.
"Excuse us for not having one of your fancy suits" she rolls her eyes.
"I'm not saying that. But something that actually covers my body would be easy to find" he raises his eyebrows.
"Be honoured, you're wearing a traditional Asgardian outfit" she smirks.
It's indeed a pretty revealing clothing. It's a baggy pair of pants and something that looks like a scarf, which is definitely not covering much of his upper body.
"If you say so" he shrugs.
"Besides, women love it" Hela comments and they look around together, noticing a lot of women giggling and blushing when they look at Tony.
