Clint's arrow hits the Iron Man suit but it was expected. As a result, Tony catches the arrow and Clint only buys a few seconds to run and hide behind a pillar.
"This is insane, Tony" he shouts and grabs a different arrow.
"A couple months ago I would agree with you, but not anymore" Tony replies and blasts towards the pillar Clint is hiding behind, breaking it.
"S.H.I.E.L.D. will find out the truth sooner or later, just surrender now before it's too late" Clint suggests and runs away to hide again.
"You really think I am afraid of S.H.I.E.L.D? I'm miles ahead of them" Tony says proudly.
"By the time they manage to catch me, my plan will be executed perfectly" he continues and shoots a few missiles towards Barton, who avoids them skillfully.
"And what exactly is your plan, Stark?" he groans and gets in position.
"To kill Loki and the Avengers. Except Natasha, who was the only one willing to help me when I needed it the most" he replies casually.
"Do you really think this is what Pepper would want for you?" Clint asks and shoots an arrow straight into Tony's suit.
The arrow electrocutes the suit for a few seconds, buing Clint some time to run and cover himself better. Tony manages to get rid of it and immediately scans the space.
"Don't you dare say her name again!" he shouts and flies towards Clint's spot furiously.
When Tony reaches him, he pushes him backwards and drags him on his back on the ground. There are a few punches taking place and mostly Clint trying to get his hands between his arrows to defend himself. When he finally manages to grab the one he was aiming for, he sticks it right on the suit's helmet where it pops a few times and the intense lightning blocks Tony's eyesight for a bit.
"You're putting up a fight for yourself, I'll give you that" Tony weirdly compliments him.
"I'll tell you once again, Tony. Surrender" Clint replies from far back and aims an arrow at Tony.
"You look ridiculous and I told you before that that's not happening" Tony replies.
"As you wish" Clint replies and releases his arrow, which quickly moves forward towards Iron Man.
"Did you really think this would stop me?" Tony catches it in the air and asks.
"No, but I knew you weren't paying attention when I explained what each of my arrows does" Clint smirks and waits a couple more seconds until the arrow goes off like a bomb and kicks Iron Man fast backwards.
"You're just p*ssing me off" Tony complains and stands up.
He now aggressively flies towards Clint and pushes him against another wall, knocking him hard against it. Tony hits him hard using his armor until Clint is bleeding and all bruised up.
"Tony, stop" he coughs blood from his mouth.
"It's too late for that now" Tony replies and hits him again.
"I have a family, please don't do this" he begs, clearly remorse.
"That's funny" Tony chuckles and holds him by his neck.
"Maybe I would've had a family too if you were there to help me" he gets more serious now and punches Clint in the face.
Clint is unable to fight back now. His ways earlier didn't buy him enough time to be able to escape this trap that Tony planned. Now he's under Tony's outraged behavior and he's taking in all his hits one after another. He's slowly drifting away until he can't hold on anymore and he closes his eyes for the final time.
