"I have located Mr. Banner, sir" JARVIS informs Tony, just hours after the search started.

"Already?" Tony sounds surprised.

"Yes" Tony shakes his head to that reply.

"Where is he?" as soon as he asks that, a location pops up in his screen.

"He's in New York?" Tony asks with a shocked tone.

"Yes, sir" JARVIS replies once again.

"Please stop answering my rhetorical questions" Tony shakes his head again.

"Of course" they come to an agreement.

Tony continues tinkering his suit with a screwdriver in his mouth. He doesn't make a move on the information he got for the next few hours that follow. He doesn't come up with a plan, he doesn't think of what's about to happen. Bruce has always been one of the closest people to him, they've shared more time together than he's shared with anyone else in the Avengers.

After a lot of time he sighs deeply and closes his eyes. He wears the suit and looks closely at the screen inside his helmet where the location is, along with the best directions to follow to reach it. He clears his mind and starts his way there. Only a few minutes are enough for him to reach the place and he immediately removes the suit to enter as friendly as possible.

"Bruce?" he asks after carefully pushing a door open.

"Tony" Bruce's familiar calm voice appears in the back of the room.

Tony walks over there slowly and notices Bruce standing casually over a counter. It's clearly a pile of papers and projects that he's been working on.

"I was surprised to find out you were still in New York" Tony says.

Bruce chuckles and puts his glasses down. Tony is not sure why he seems so amused but he soon finds out.

"You would've found me no matter where I tried to hide. I thought that spending my final days doing things I love was the best option for me" he continues.

"You certainly did make both our lives easier" Tony admits.

"How could you do all these things? You-" Bruce interrupts himself to take a deep breath.

"These were our friends, our partners. How could you take their lives?" his voice cracks.

"Friends?" Tony chuckles.

"Friends are there when you need them, they don't turn their backs at you" he continues.

"We all made a mistake, a rushed decision. We put ourselves and our personal benefits first. Do we really deserve to die for that?" Bruce asks.

"Did she? Did Pepper deserve to die?" Tony almost shakes.

"No, of course not. No one would ever say that, Tony" Bruce quickly replies.

"Well, it happened either way. She's gone and we're all to blame for it" his eyes get watery.

"I'm sorry, Tony. I really am. Unfortunately, tragedies like this happen to people who don't deserve it. That doesn't give you the right to go around killing people for revenge. You've lost control of yourself. Your anger is taking over you and it's consuming you. I know better than anyone how bad this can turn out to be. Please, just try to be reasonable again" Bruce begs him.

"I can't control it" Tony admits and closes his eyes as a couple of tears roll down his cheeks.

"It's not too late to stop. Do the right thing, turn yourself in. You know what you're doing is wrong" Bruce takes a step closer to him.
