Hope's POV:

The next day, me, Zed, Eliza, and Zoey came to Zombietown to convince the werewolves to vote for Zed.

"Win the wolves vote, win the election. Easy." Zed said as we approached the wolves. "Hello wolves, allow me to introduce myself. I'm Zed, zombie, football star, presidential hopeful."

He extended his hand for a handshake, but no one returned it. He laughed nervously and retracted his hand. I tried not to laugh, but I couldn't and I laughed a little. Zed gave me an annoyed look and I just shrugged.

"When zombies first came to Seabrook, we were outsiders, too. Which is why you need a great president like Zed to represent you. We'd be honored if you guys joined us." Eliza said.

"Our pack is our pack. We don't need anyone else, so..." Winter said.

"Who doesn't want more friends? Underneath all that fluffy hair, I bet you're a real softie." Zoey said.

Winter bent down so that she was face to face with Zoe.

"I am mean, mean werewolf, kid. I am tough and rough" Winter growled.

"Aww, you said "ruff". Like a sweat little puppy dog. Ruff, ruff!"

"We are beasts of the forest, we will never be tamed." Winter growled again, but Zoey started scratching behind her ear like a real dog. "Oh boy. Oh wow, that's great. Oh wow... sorry." Winter whispered as Zoe removed her hand.

"We're nothing like you zombies" Willa said standing up.

"You sort of are. You're necklace is powered, right? Kind of like an organic Z-band." Eliza said.

"You're smarter than he looks." Willa said as she looked at Zed

I had to try not to laugh again. That's why I love the werewolves, they have attitude.

"Thanks."

"That necklace keeps you from fully wolfing out?" Zed asked, as he tried to touch Willa's necklace, but she hit his hand.

"The opposite. Our moonstones make us our true werewolf selves" Willa said.

"So without it you'd be human?" Zed asked.

"No, we'd die. We'd be nothing." Willa said.

"Imagine how alive you'd feel if you didn't have to tamp thing down. How back your true selves." Wyatt added on.

"Actually, I've got this theory that zombies might've evolved beyond their need for Z-bands." Eliza started, but was interrupted by Zed.

"Z-bands are great. They help you fit it. And I think you guys would have a much better time at Seabrook if you just followed in our footsteps." Zed said.

"Well, if you want to. You're amazing just the way you are." I said as the wolves looked at me in surprise and Willa raised an eyebrow. Zed gave me another annoyed look. "But it will be nice to fit in." I said seeing Zed's look.

"Join a club, play football. I'll even teach you how to tackle. Just lighten up. Be more like us."

Just like in the movie, Winter threw Zed to the ground. I laughed again and Zed glared at me again. Wow, I'm really annoying him. The wolves howled as Zed groaned on the ground in pain. Eliza and I helped him up. Then I saw that Dale was at the gate waiting for me.

"I have to go, see you tomorrow Zed, Eliza." I said as I walked away.

"See you tomorrow, Hope." they both said.
