Part Sixteen

-Kira's POV-

When I got to school, all packed, I saw Maddie walking with Diego. I decided I should walk with them. "Hey guys!" I said excited, but they just kept quiet. "Eh, guys? What's wrong?" Still no sound. What was happening? "Haha, Diego, you're right!" Maddie said. Huh? "Maddie!" I waved my hand in front of her face. She acted like I wasn't even there. There was one thing I could do, go to the council.

At the council I knocked, and someone opened the door. "Ehm, hello!" A woman told me. Finally someone who can hear me! "Hey, I have a problem." I said serious and walked in. "What is it?" The woman asked. "Someone did a spell so no one can hear or see me." I said. "What? A spell? That's ridiculous. And, I can see you dummy." She said. "Listen, I'm not stupid, I know you're one of the counc-" I said but then the woman put a hand for my mouth. "Not. Another. Word." She warned and I just froze her hand. "Ow, ow, ow!" She said putting her hand away. "Wait, you are a kanay? How? Diego said only Mia and him were left!" She said. "Well, I'm one too. Now help me, I tried to talk to Maddie and Diego this morning, and they just ignored me." I said. The woman nodded. "They didn't even see me!" I continued. "Maybe they just didn't care." She said. Oh, how she would regret that. I did a hard spell on her, it hurted her head. "I don't know if you know me, but if I were you, I wouldn't get on my bad side." I said. She just grabbed a phone. "Oh yeah, call the council, they couldn't help you." I said. "Oh I doubt that." She said challenging. I sat down still doing the spell, when she called the Desdemona girl. "Yes, please come." She only said. The council immediately was in the room and I quit the spell. "Great! Maybe you can help me!" I started. They looked shocked at me. Okay, so someone did a spell on me, and it makes people not see or hear me." I explained. "We are not going to help you! You attacked on of us, so you lose your powers." Desdemona said and tried to take my powers, but couldn't. She stood there, with a bottle to put my powers in, stunned. "You can't take my powers away! Still haven't gotten that I'm stronger than you?" I said sassy. "You guys." I pointed at the three of them. "You are helping me." I continued.

-Maddie's POV-

"Diego, do you know where Kira is?" I asked Diego who was walking with me to school. Something was wrong with today. Normally she walks with us to school, today I haven't even heard from her. "Who cares? Can't you live one day without her?" Diego replied. "What do you mean by that?" I asked getting angry. "I know she's you best friend, but, what if she's sick one day. You would survive, wouldn't you?" He asked with no anger in his voice at all. "Well, I would hate her being sick. But, now Brienne is also at school now, so I guess I wouldn't mind..." I said unsure. "But still, she is my best friend and like I said, I would hate her being sick!" I said with anger in my voice. "You don't have to get all mad Maddie! The only thing I hope for you is to make friends." He said. Oh he did not just say that! "WHAT?!" I yelled in anger. "Sorry, sorry, I didn't mean it like that!" He tried to apologise. "Oh, I know exactly how you meant it." I said with tears in my eyes and ran away. Kira, where are you?
