Every Witch Way - season 4 {COMPLETED}

Part twenty-two

- Kira's POV -
I met with everyone, to tell the plan. I explained the story about Brienne and they were all shocked. No one expected this of her, neither did I. But I believe Jax. I believe him in everything.

"So my plan was that we kill her, before she kills us." I say. Everyone looks up at me with shocked faces. "I don't think it's that hard, she's not that strong."

"She's stronger than me." Maddie says. I doubt that since she became a Toekomstige but she continues. "She's also stronger than Diego." I never heard her say 'Diego' before. She always said 'Proxy'. I don't know what's wrong, maybe they're fighting or something. No, if they would fight she would tell me.

"How do you know she's stronger than Diego?" Jax asks. He's sitting next to me, and next to him is Andi. They had their date this afternoon, I didn't hear anything about it. He didn't talk to me after the T3 accident, I think there's something wrong.

"Diego... Kissed her, because of his compulsion." Maddie says and Diego grabs her hand. "But then he realized it."

"I fought with her, but she did something and defeated me. It wasn't compulsion I'm sure." He says. "Then I saw that Maddie fainted and brought her to nurse Lily." That must be when Maddie got her first future. I look at Maddie and she nods. Did she hear that? She nods again. I feel Jax poking me and I look at him. He looks at me confused and I smile. He then looks away and I can't help but think he's.... Mad? Why would he be mad at me?

"I think it's a good plan." Daniel suddenly says. I never really met the kid, but Emma really wanted him to be here. "But how are we gonna do it? Just a knife trough her chest or do you need a special spell?" Now everyone is looking shocked at him. How does he know so much about killing?

"What? I play video-games." He defenses himself. "So, how do we kill her?"

"That's the thing, I don't know how." I say. "I need help to find out, I need someone who she doesn't suspect, to spy on her."

"She suspects everyone here." Andi finally speaks up. I'm suprised she talks, she was so awkward the whole time.

"Not me." Emma says. It's true, Emma didn't do anything to her. "And I'm more powerful than her."

"How do you know that?" Jax asks.

"Because, Jax, I'm the Chosen One." Wow. Why is she so cocky? Maddie gasps. I guess she didn't expect this of her too. Jax opens his mouth, but I grab his hand, and he closes it again. Andi looks at our hands, and I remove it. I don't want her to think anything. Because there is nothing.

"Okay, so the plan now is, Emma -the Chosen One-" I say and Emma looks at me irritated, I give her a fake smile. "Is gonna spy on Brienne, find out how we're gonna kill her, then Maddie is going to kill her." Maddie looks at me shocked of my sudden decision.

"I already know how to kill her." Maddie interrupts me. I look at her and tell her to explain. "With a special kanay knife." She says. What the hell is that?

"It's a knife that has kanay markings in it, put there by a kanay." She looks at me. I know she read my memories, and thought I said it, but no one suspects anything. "It kills a kanay, or, an old kanay." She continues. I never killed a kanay with that thing, I killed them with spells. But I don't think that works now, as it didn't work the first time.

"Do you know where we find a knife like that?" I ask her. She shakes her head.

"I have no idea. All I know is that that's the solution." And suddenly I get it. That's where her future was about. I look at Diego, and see him realizing it too.

"Then that's what we'll do. Find the knife, put my powers in it and then kill her with it." I explain. Everyone nods. Then Emma and Daniel walk out of the house hand in hand. Ugh, what was up with Emma today? She was mean all the time and saying that she's the 'Chosen One' like that? It was nothing for her. I decide to talk to Maddie to see what's up. She is talking to Diego     -about her future- and I interrupt her.

"Hey Maddie, can we talk for a minute? In private?"

"Ofcourse Kirawinky, bye Diego." She called him Diego, again. It doesn't seem like they fought, but also Diego looks confused when me and Maddie walked away. Something is up with her, and I need to find out what.

"So what do you wanna talk about?" She asks and only now I realize she isn't wearing her usual make-up -which contains lots of pink eyeshadow, lipstick and blush- but nude eyeshadow and what mascara. She is wearing a purple top with light-blue skinny jeans, and not her normal pink dress. Or skirt and top, with heels. I look at her shoes, and she's not wearing heels, but white adidas-sneakers. The only thing that stayed the same about her look, is her curly hair with a pin in it. But I doubt if that will stay the same. I gotta say, I like her new look. She always looked beautiful, but I'm not someone to wear a lot of make-up.

"Hello? What did you bring me here for different to stare at me?" Maddie asks. I cough.

"I wanted to talk to you about Diego." I say. "What is up with you?" I ask sweet. She smiles at me and I'm happy she isn't mad.

"Nothing, why you ask?"

"You called Diego 'Diego' tonight."

"So? That's his name right?" She says as it's obvious.

"I mean, you didn't call him 'Proxy'." It sounds dumb coming out of my now. It's just a name, why is it so important?

"That's true. I feel like I'm changing because I'm a Toekomstige. Toekomst told me that all Toekomstigen change when they become one. I mean, I got to choose a dress, and liked the purple on better!" I have no idea what she's talking about, and apparently she notices because she explains the whole story. I laugh during her story. I can't believe that she actually saw me in the gown as her.

"Really! You said refuse her, refuse her the whole time!" Maddie laughs. I look at her with wide eyes. Doesn't she know what this means? Apparently not, because she looks at me confused.

"Don't you know what this means? You're immune to Brienne's compelling! You can choose what to do!" I say happy. She looks at me with the same wide eyes I gave her seconds ago and then she cheers, I join her, and then we dance of happiness.

"What are you guys cheering about?" Someone asks. I recognize that accent, it's Jax. I don't know if I can tell him, I don't understand those rules of the Toekomstigen. Jax looks at me but I stay quiet until Maddie talks.

"Because we finally have a plan to fight Brienne." She says happy. She grabs Jax's hand and makes him dance with us. He just walks in circles, while we dance.

"I don't dance." He says. I look at him sad and Maddie does too. He still walks instead of dancing. I do a quick spell forcing him to dance. He laughs and dances with us. Everyone is looking at us but I don't care, I'm finally having fun. I think I only had that once today, when the T3 and I had an inside snow-fight. But even that wasn't that fun, because I had to tell Diego over my killing-spree on other kanays. 'Kanays wouldn't even be instinct if you didn't kill them all' an annoying voice in my head says. 'If you didn't try to kill Brienne you and your friends wouldn't even be in this mess' it then continues. If I could slap it, I would. I try not to think about it too much, it happened and that's okay. I'm still here, dancing with my best friends while everyone is clapping in rythm. But the clapping is disturbed by people with black masks on. They have nothing like knives with them, but they are portraying spells to make everyone fall on their knees. I see maddie exchanging her hand with a pained look on her face. She is looking at me. I want to take her hand and never let it go. I wanna protect her. But instead of that I feel a hard bump on my head. I hear Jax yelling something, and I hear someone taking me. But then, all I see is blackness.

What do you think happened? I'm sad that this story is almost to an end but I'm planning on making a new one (it's more about Maddie's journey on being the princess of the Toekomst-Kingdom (I still need to figure out a good name). Comment if you like the idea! Vote also, I really appreciate it :)
