"Want to come out for a fight Mia?!" I screamed towards the bush she was behind. She came out with a smirk on her face. "Ofcourse! I'm always in for a fight, you still don't know?" She said while smiling. "Oh, I know everything about you." I said. Then I went for the attack. An old spell that I learned from my mother, it was the strongest spell to ever exist she said. And right after I did it Mia was knocked out. She lay unconscious, on the ground. "Don't you think that was a little harsh?" Diego asked. "No! It was exactly what she deserved! I hope she doesn't wake up, she can't touch my friends like that." Maddie said, Diego must have unfroze her. "Thank you Maddie. And she's just unconscious, not dead." I informed Diego. "How can you tell?" Diego asked me. "She breathes, I can feel from a distance." I walked back inside while Diego and Maddie were following me. "We couldn't even train now! How did you do the spell, for example, was it a kanay thing?" Diego and Maddie asked. "No, it was a spell. But not even the Chosen One can do it. It's the hardest spell ever." I said. "Well, how did you learn?" Maddie asked. "My mom teached me, when I was younger." I said with a sad smile. "What is it with your mom?" Maddie asked concerned. She knew something was wrong. "We... just got into a fight, nothing much. She just thinks I can't tell anyone about being a kanay." I replied. "Ah, that sucks. Well, you can come to my house if you want!" Maddie asked proudly. "Ofcourse! Is Diego coming?" I asked while looking at Diego. "Oh, no, he has to do homework." Maddie said. "Oh, okay. Bye, Diego!" I waved him goodbye and Diego smiled at me.

"So.... Do you like someone?" Maddie asked, clearly amused. "No! I'm only here for one day!" I said laughing. "And what girls do you like the most?" She asked. "You, Katie and Sophie, even though I didn't talk to them a lot. And I like Emma and Andi, I think." I replied. "What? You like Emma?" She asked with a shocked face. "I only talked to her once, I don't know her really yet." I said. "Well, you don't know her at all if you like her. She is stupid. And a witch, by the way." She said. "The Chosen One, I know. Everyone in my old school talked about how she defeated Desdemona, like it was an amazing thing. I could've defeated her in just two seconds." I said with pride. "She's tougher than she looks, but, you are too. So you're probably right." She smiled. "And you? Are you a strong witch? You look like one." I asked. "I think I'm a good witch. I lost my powers for a long time. My mom had them." She said with a sad smile. "And she never told you?" I asked. Maddie said nothing. "That's awful! But good thing you have them back now. Is it because of Diego?" I asked. "Yes! How do you know?" She asked. "Well, since he is a kanay, he can do it. I can do it too." I said. "That's so cool! Which tattoos do you have?" She asked. "Tattoos?" I was lost. I didn't have any tattoos, I thought she could see. "No, kanay tattoos." She corrected herself. "Kanay markings? That's what I call them, at least. I have lots of them! My whole body full, actually." I showed them to her. "Wow! Diego only has his arms, but you have your whole body!" She said with interest. "What do they all mean?" She asked curios. "I... don't know most of them. But this means pride, this means old, this means..." I told her while pointing at the right marking. "That's so cool! You should show them at Diego tomorrow!" She said. I looked at her frightened. Not everyone could know about this, it's dangerous. "Eh... I'm sorry, I can't show them. Not to everyone." I said. "It's only me and Diego, you'll be fine." She said while blowing it off like it was nothing. "No. I won't show them. These markings are things that are, a little, private, you know? I don't think you understand, but they're private to me. They are part of me. They mean a lot of me, I can't lose them." I said. "You can lose kanay markings? I never knew that, how can you lose them?" She asked. "Someone has to be stronger than you, or know every meaning of the markings you have. You'll get more by stealing them." I said with shame. "You stole these markings?" She asked. "Yes. I did, when I needed to get stronger. Now I can't get stronger, because my whole body is full. So I need to not lose them, you understand? If I show them to too many people, I will lose them. I will get weaker and weaker then. And if I don't have any markings left, I'll die." I said. "Oh gosh... I, understand." Maddie said, stuttering of shock. "I will not do anything to let you lose these, you understand me? I will kill the person who wants them."
