Part nineteen

Important A/N:
I've decided to write a bit differently. I will, when someone talks, put a space between it. Like this:
"Jax, why are you hiding?" Kira asked.

"Oh, just clumsy you know." I quoted her.
I hope you like this style of writing. I think it's more proffesional. Now, let's begin the chapter!

Story:
- Kira's POV -
"She was with Thomas, when you broke up with him. She then brought E here, trying to get you killed. Now, I just know she's up to something bad. I can feel it." Jax ends.

No. She wouldn't. Brienne wouldn't betray me, would she? Who am I gonna believe? My new best friend or my life-long best friend? I guess it's kinda obvious.

"I believe you. We have to take her down, Jax. If she wants to do something to me, to us all. Then she has to be taken down." I tell him. He nods with his mind on something else.

"What is it?" I ask.

"I'm trying to figure out a plan. What are we gonna do about someone so powerful? She controls Maddie. I know it. I don't know how, but I know." He says.

And then and there, I knew it. Brienne must've kept some kanay-powers. She must've kept the compelling-powers. I smiled a big and bright smile, and I pulled Jax in the girls-toilet.

"Wow! What is it? Why am I in the girls-toilet?" He asked pulling his leather-jacket straight.

"I know how we defeat Brienne! I know what she does to Maddie!" I whispered fast. I was just so excited!

"How and what?" Jax asked at the same speed.

"She is compelling Maddie, obviously! I can do that too, all kanays can!" I said happy. "Oh, and I'll tell you and everyone the plan tonight."

"How do we break this compulsion? Can you do that? Did you compel me?" Jax asked me.

"I can break it, by un-compelling her. I just have to compel her to forget Brienne's compelling. And I never compelled you, why do you think that?" I obviously lied.

"When did you compel me Kir?" He said calling me by my little 'nickname' that no one calls me but him.

"When we first met, and you knew I was a kanay. You wanted to tell everyone, and you couldn't do that!" I said defensing myself.

"I get it. But never to it again, understood?" He said as serious as he can be around me. Aka not serious at all.

"Hahahahaha. Ay-ay captain." I laughed doing a soldier gesture with my hand.

"Now, compel Maddie to un-compel her, or something... I don't get this kanay-stuff." He said confused. I smirked and walked out.

I saw Maddie decorating the podium for the party. I called her name and she stood beside me in seconds.

"Hey Kirawinky! What's up?" She asked me.

"I need to do something to you, that you have to forgive me for." I said while grabbing her shoulders.

"Kira... I'm scared. What are you gonna do?" She asked me scared.

"Once Brienne compels you now, you are not going to do it. You are going to refuse. You will not believe her, be friends with her or even talk to her. Understood?" I compelled. Maddie nodded and I smiled.

"Now tell me, what is up with you and Diego?" I asked her.

"He said I was obsessed with you. Me? Obsessed? The only one I'm obsessed with is myself." She said. "O.M.P." She then said slowly. "I didn't forgive him! He did such sweet things, he bought me choclate, and flowers... And I refused him! I said that he... had to perform at the dance this friday! Why did I tell him that?" Maddie asked.

"Brienne must've compelled you! You don't remember?" I asked her. She shook her head. "Wow. Brienne's powers must be stronger than I thought." I said.

"What else don't I remember? What else did she make me do?" She asked me.

"I don't know. I don't think she did much, it would've been too obvious." I concluded.

"I think so too. But what do I have to do? Forgive Diego?" She asked me.

"Of course! He has been desperately asking me about how to forgive you. He's really sorry, Maddie." I said. "Or... you let him sing a song at the dance?" I asked her laughing.

"No! I can't make him do that!" She exclaimed.

"Sorry, just a plan." I said holding up my hands.

"I'm going to find him. You stay here." She said.

"Or I'll talk to Jax." I said. Maddie nodded and we went our ways.

- Maddie's POV -
He has to forgive me. He needs to forgive me. I walk inside the lab, and there I see him. Kissing Brienne.
