MJ: Okay well, if you have some free time after school sometime this week we could hang out. You know, talk and stuff.
Peter: yeah. Cool. Sounds good.
MJ: Okay see you around.
MJ walks away from the table Peter and Ned were sitting at. She walks out of the room. Kind of an awkward encounter but whatever. As long as Ned doesn't find out what exactly MJ has for him.
Ned: What was that about?
Peter gives Ned a look.
Ned: There's some tension between the two of you if you know what I mean.
Peter: really?
Ned: uh, yes.
Peter: At the party we really got to know each other better. Usually she's so quiet but outside of school she's a whole different person.
Ned: Are you gonna tell me what you guys were talking about? And you guys are going to hang out? Alone?
Peter: It's nothing really. It's just something for school. Nothing interesting. And maybe. We talked about hanging out in the future at the party.
Ned listens to Peter. He knows Peter is hiding something from him but he doesn't want to push it.
Peter: But we'll see. I still like Liz too though so I need to sort through those feelings before I hang with MJ.
Ned: Peter you are all over the place.
Ned was right. Peter knew he was all over the place. But he can't ignore how he feels. He likes Liz and MJ. Even after Saturday.
