I gasped and choked out a harsh, throat-ripping cough. My eyes snapped up and I glared at the figure in the doorway, internally wishing I could tear him apart for waking me up.
"Rise and shine, sweetheart. I've got some news for you." Ren smiled a gross smile, his hand waving a phone around.
"Don't call me sweetheart," I spat, "And I don't care about any "news" that you have."
"Oh, I think you do care about this." Ren stepped forward and typed something in his phone. He kneeled down in front of me and shoved his phone into my face.
A reposted live video from the local news station was displayed on the screen. I couldn't understand what I was seeing at first until the camera moved and-
It was a bird's eye view of my house when it was on fire.
Bird's eye view...
"Shit..."
The bottom left side of the video showed the rooftop where I fell with San. I watched how we landed and my reaction to the fire. The lady in the helicopter was speaking in the background.
"I was just informed that there is a woman still inside the building and- Is that Spiderman down there?" The camera panned down to show San and I. "He's just dropped in with... a boy on his back? What is he- OH!" The lady gasped and so did the cameraman, because right there, on live TV, my suit fell off and everyone could see my face.
"It's reposted everywhere, and now everyone knows who's under that stupid mask. Jung Wooyoung."
Ren put his phone away and I stared at the ground in shock, silently hoping all of this is just a lie. But unfortunately, it isn't. The entire world could see that I'm Spiderman. My friends know that I'm Spiderman now. And I know it won't be hard for them to guess that Yeosang is YS, now that my identity was revealed.
'Shit... How will this affect San? And all my other friends?'
I could feel my breathing speeding up, along with my heart rate.
"You've got to let me out of here!" I pleaded, whipping my head up to face Ren.
"And why would I do that?"
"I need to see my friends! I have to explain myself. I need to make sure they're safe!" My head was thrown to the side after being slapped across the face. I scoffed but didn't bother to lift my head up.
"You want to protect your little friends? That's too bad, you're stuck here."
A kick was landed to my stomach and I coughed harshly, hunching over and tugging at the chains restraining my hands behind my back. I kicked and struggled as he beat me over and over, the bruises he left behind feeling as though they'd be forever embedded into my skin. Even as I screamed and yelled and kicked, Ren beat me relentlessly.
I slowly gave up on fighting back, but Ren never did.
'Just kill me already.'

'Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck- FUCK, JONGHO'S COMING OVER-'
Yeosang quickly paced around his room, anxiously biting his nails as he listened to his phone buzzing over and over. He stopped dead in his tracks when his eyes landed on his laptop - the one he used when helping Spiderman - and his pitch black shades that were resting peacefully on top of the device. A strangled sound bubbled up from his throat as he stepped forward and gingerly picked up the glasses.
