June 3
Jung Family Home - 06:45When I woke up the next morning, my eyes were puffy and my throat hurt badly. I glanced over at my phone and noticed that Yeosang never ended the call.
"Yeo?" I croaked out.
I wasn't surprised when he answered almost immediately; he always woke up before me. "You sound like a frog that smokes a pack a day."
"Gee thanks."
"You gonna come to school like that? You really do sound awful..."
I sighed, sitting up and swinging my legs over the side of my bed. "I'll throw on a mask and call it good. I'll have to wear a turtleneck or a hoodie and have my hood up all day, too."
"Wear your light blue sleeveless hoodie. You won't be too hot and even if the hood falls down, your hair is long enough to cover the majority of your mark."
I hummed and grabbed the hoodie he was talking about. But then I stopped.
"Yeo? Cropped or no?"
"Cropped. Your ripped black skinny jeans with the white stitching over the holes, too."
I smiled as I assembled the outfit, grabbing a few accessories to add to it. I grabbed it all and took it to the bathroom with me, not forgetting to grab my phone as well.
"I'm gonna shower. Thanks, Yeosang."
He hummed and ended the call, leaving me to shower in peace - while listening to BTS, of course.
After 30 minutes (the last 15 being spent singing my heart out) I was fully dressed and accessorized, now wondering what to do with my hair.
'I'll put the dark hair in a ponytail, leave the blonde and my bangs out, I guess.'
I put my hair back and proceeded to do a little makeup just for fun. Just some little stars by my eyes with a neutral eyeshadow.
Doesn't matter if I feel like shit, I won't let myself look like shit.
There was a knock on the bathroom door.
"How's my little spider baby this morning?" My mom asked, her voice slightly muffled by the door.
I opened it and looked at her with a wry smile. "Awful, honestly." She heard the cracks in my voice and immediately pulled me into a hug. But then I heard her gasp and knew she saw my soulmark.
"Your soulmark-"
"I know," I sighed painfully, pulling away from her very comforting hug.
I looked her in the eyes and answered her unspoken question.
"I met him last night." My smile cracked and the tears caught in my lashes. "I met him as Spiderman, mom."
"Wooyoung... I'm so sorry," She whispered, stroking my cheek with her oh so delicate hands.
I wiped my tears with a tissue before they could fall and ruin my makeup and walked out of the bathroom. I put a mask over my face and slung my bag over my shoulder, turning to face my mom again - who now stood in my bedroom doorway.
"I'll find him again, mom, don't worry. I'll figure this out. I am Spiderman, after all, it's kinda my job."

Seoul's KQ High - 07:47
I jumped out of my mom's boyfriend's car, careful not to knock my hood off my head. I immediately walked over to Yeosang the moment I spotted him and bumped my head on his shoulder.

ActionEveryone has a soulmate and a soulmark. Soulmarks, just like soulmates, are perfect pairings, like: salad and dressing, coffee and donuts, milk and cookies, etc. Or in my case, a spiderweb and what I'm assuming will be a spider. Funny considering I...
