"With that please welcome, the undefeated champions, TEAM SOUL!" The voice of the host sounded through the speakers, followed by a huge round of applause from the audience, and chants of appreciation from the mad going crowd.
As the team stepped up on the stage, the lights changed from a happily dancing ray to the usual green colour, as their team logo hovered on the large plasma screen behind them, and they posed for a team picture.
After the usual small talk of, 'undefeated for a reason' they ventured towards the arena through a small door, through which our Alpha Clan could see bits and pieces of the whole setup.

"BRUH IRL fan following aisi toh mai pehli baar dekhrahi hu bey" Sreeya was still glancing at team SouL, the way the audience were cheering and hooting for them was just overwhelming for the Duo, if not for MortaL and Sc0ut.
MortaL and Sc0ut were one of the most subscribed dedicated gamers on Youtube, and they had had a few meetups in the past, but for the BSB Duo who were confined only to events, gaming, and recent fame through streaming games, this was the first time that some part of the audience was there at the venue watching them.

Yes, they had participated in events, but janta wasn't allowed inside back then, the event was broadcasted on live streaming platforms up till now.
This was a fresh new concept. 

"Fan following toh ab dekhiyo na Sreeya" Scout remarked as he winked at the said person and she glanced at him in a bit of a confused state.

"And last but not the least, with a round of applause, we welcome our final team for the semifinals tonight- THE ALPHA GRIFFINS~!!"
The host announced and the four of them proceeded to walk up onstage, and they were welcomed by bright red lights scattered all about the hall, which matched with their iconic team logo that had been witness to numerous other events like these.

The Crowed hooted and cheered as they walked up to the stage one after the other, as their profiles flashed on the huge screen behind them.

Scout was the one to go first, and the amount of chants and hooting and claps he received from the crowd....
Almost the whole mob was chanting 'Scout Scout' and 'Scout OP' and as soon as he waved at them and smiled, the crowd went berserk. LITERALLY.
The crowd which was syncing with chants and claps suddenly went bonkers, while the host himself struggled to speak amidst all this.

"His audience is considered the most loyal audience in the whole of Indian Gaming Community" MortaL said as the Duo looked on with a shine in their eyes, "come what may, kabhi saath nahi chhordte ye pyare log" 

Next up went MortaL who was greeted in a similar way, his fans held up the boards and charts with the iconic rocket emoji followed by 'MortaL OG' chants.

"For the first time we are seeing this combination guys, along with the clutchgods of BGMI, please welcome, the Deadly Duo, better known as the BSB Duo..." The said two exchanged glances and took deep breaths to calm themselves, and their heartbeats went faster as they anticipated their names' to be announced.
" .....YASHASVINI THAKUR AND SREEYA CHAUHAN!" 

Upon walking up on stage, the two of them could hardly control their emotions.
Everything just seemed so perfect.

The whole of the audience were clapping and hooting throughout and they could hear loud roars of 'DEADLY DUO- BSB DUO' well and loud.
This was all they had always dreamt for.
Not money, not fame, not even the competition could they remember at that very moment. The love and respect their audience showered upon them made most of their nervousness vanish into thin air.
They were feeling belittled in front of the other teams just moments before, but now that they are here, they know...
