Storyline:
-born in Harlem, dad's a firefighter and stoner, mom is a tattoo artist
-fights start happening over dad's addiction, mom finds out she's a lesbian, dad is fine with it, they calmly divorce and split Remy 50/50, mom moves to NYC and gets a girlfriend, girlfriend has a young daughter, Remy picks up internalized homophobia from mom, dad moves to midtown manhattan, Remy is 12
-Remy's pissed and felt like their parents' divorce wasn't necessary, internalized homophobia led to them borderline hating their mom, liked staying with dad more

-Dad is sympathetic with how Remy is feeling, really tries to be in their life, bonds over a love of baseball, and never remarries to keep his attention on Remy
-Mom is complicated, and still wants to be in Remy's life, but Remy feels awkward/ignored with girlfriend and new kid, lashes out and avoids them, Remy is 14
-for Remy's 14th birthday, Dad gets them a pet Tokay gecko, remy names him Yoshi and carries him around with them almost everywhere

-the event allows remy to face their own internalized homophibia towards themself and their mom, figires out their genderless and like girls
-comes clean about everything to their mother, mother is horrified, but glad to have her kids back, remy and mom's gf start getting along
-remy comes out to both parents and is immediately accepted, starts trying in school and wants to become a bartender with their own bar, dad moves to south side of manhattan to avoid the dragons, remy starts getting dragon tattoo removed
-remy has a run in with their old dragon buddies, who basically want them dead for ditching, remy fights them off and runs into an allyway where the turtles come in and whoop the dragons asses, the turtles run off but remy is like 'hold the fuck up and follows them to their hideout'
-age 18, mom and gf are married, remy likes their lil sister, is now good friends w/ the turtles +val&eddie, has a special bond with leo over being so independent/feeling responsible for others, remy graduates high school w/honors and an apprenticeship
-a month after graduation, remy is caught alone by the dragons, is knocked out and taken to a abandoned Krang warehouse
-their exposed to Mutagen, and is mutated into a giant gecko, yoshi dies as a result of the radiation
