Storyline:
Kiran was born in 1950s Pakistan to a very conservative family, second oldest to her brother Zian and the only girl. Her childhood was mostly carefree, that was until she was 16 and her older brother was sent to fight in India to help support the family. When he didn't come back, her parents jumped to plan B: marrying Kiran off to an older rich man. The next two years were hell, being forced to learn how to be a housewife and having all her freedoms taken away. The night before her wedding, she tried running away, only to be bitten by a radioactive spider in the middle of the desert. She was found in the morning and was forced to go through with the wedding. Thankfully, the wedding was interrupted by a member of the Spider Society, who objected to the union and then whisked Kiran away to the Society.
