after crashing the car at circuit paul richard mid-race, charles went straight to the ferrari garage where i stood watching the race.
"i just want to do this for my dad and jules" charles cried into my shoulder, his racing overalls being tied around his waist. he was still sweaty from the race, but it doesn't matter. "i know baby, and you can still do it. these past races you've been unlucky, but it doesn't mean you can't still win the championship"
"i know you can do it" i told charles, kissing his temple. ferrari has messed up his chance of winning the championship, but luckily there is still a chance for him to win it. charles held me tight, and wouldn't let go quite yet.
