The following morning.

"Tae--"

"Hmm.."

Taehyung, still with his eyes closed, hummed in response when he heard Jin called his name whose face was buried against his chest. He was holding Jin close - their naked bodies were keeping each other warm under the duvet that covers only their lower bodies, as it was already falling off the bed.

It has been a tiring night for both - evidenced by the messy bed and their disheveled hairs, but both were feeling great this morning as they wake up in each other's arms.

"Tae-- answer your phone.." Jin murmured, annoyed at the sound of Taehyung's phone ringing.

"Ugh!" Taehyung groaned. But he reached for his phone on the night stand with his one hand, the other still keeping Jin in their embrace.

"H-hello?!"

"Tae! Wow- are you still asleep?! I've been calling you for hours now. Where are you?!"

"Kook, if it's not important, I'll just call you okay?! I'm still asleep."

"Well, this is pretty important. I have already dug down about why your letters never reached Jin, as well as why Jin's letters never got to you."

Taehyung suddenly sprung up from bed which surprised Jin so he turned to look at him, listening to his phone attentively.

"What did you find out?! How did that happen?!!"

"Tae, our PA spilled the tea-- it was your parents. They instructed him to give any letters from you, or from Jin, to them and not tell you a single thing about it."

"Fuck-"

Jin gasped a bit hearing Taehyung, so he worriedly asked, "Why?! What's wrong, Tae??"

Taehyung just shook his head as he sighed, then he told Jungkook, "Okay. I'll see you at the office. Thanks for the update, Kook."

When Taehyung ended the call, Jin sit up to face Taehyung properly. "Hey, is everything okay?!"

"Y-yeah, baby. Don't worry." Taehyung forced a smile, then he gave Jin a sweet peck on the lips. He said, "I just have to go to the office to sort something."

"Something? Something that is obviously wrong.. And you're not telling me? Is it business related? Maybe I can give legal advice. For free." Jin encouragingly smiled.

Taehyung sighed as he can't help but reveal to Jin what he just learned, despite his worry that Jin will get upset.

"Well-- I can't lie to you.. Remember those letters?! The ones that I sent you but you never received them.."

"Oh that-- Yeah, and my letters too that never reached you. What happened to them?!"

"It's-- it's basically dad and mum. They intercepted so we won't know about them. I-- I'm so sorry, baby."

"Oh-" Jin frowned. Then he let out a sigh, "I shouldn't be surprised. I know they hated me."

"They shouldn't. Don't think about it too much, hmm? I will discuss this with them."

"O-okay."

Taehyung just placed a gentle kiss on Jin's forehead as he looked at his frowning boyfriend.

Taehyung stepped into his father's office without even knocking. He was looking furious and upset at the same time as he said in a soft but firm voice, "I can't believe you did that to me, dad!"
