Epilogue

Three years later. Mt Halla, Jeju.

A wide blanket was laid out on the brightest, greenest area of the top of the mountain, under a big shade of an oak tree. The blanket was wide and spacious enough for the friends to comfortably sit on as they share plenty of delectable dishes and snacks - a two-layered cake in the middle of the feast.

Everyone clapped their hands in glee as Chi-ah blew the candles on her cake.

"Happy 2nd birthday, sweetie.." Jin said as he peppered his daughter with kisses on the cheeks.

Then Taehyung took the little girl from his husband and lifted her high as she giggled loudly, "My princess is growing too fast!! Happy birthday my Kim Chi-ah!!"

"She is too adorable!!" Jimin said, smiling sweetly as he watched the birthday girl being swayed around by her father. And he smiled even more when Jungkook suddenly emerged from behind and hugged his waist.

Jungkook then said, "Yeah, too cute. But Taehyung is the worst at naming babies! Namjoon, do you process documents for a name change for my beautiful niece?!"

The group chuckled at what Jungkook said, then Namjoon answered, "If that's doable, Jin has already done it a long time ago. Taehyung might sue me for it."

"It was worse at first. He wanted it to be just Chi. I just added the last syllable so it would sound cute." Jin said.

"Kim Chi.. aren't you too harsh on your daughter, Tae?!" Yoongi asked.

"Yah! What's wrong with Kim Chi?! You all love kimchi!!" Taehyung hissed at them.

"Don't worry y'all.. when our Hosu marries Chi-ah someday, it will change to Min Chi-ah." Hobi said. Then he placed a kiss on his son's forehead in Yoongi's arms.

"Jeon Chi-ah sounds better." Jungkook smirked, then he gave Jimin a quick peck on the lips.

"C'mon, Kook! Propose to Jimin first!" Taehyung scoffed.

"It's fine. We are not in a hurry. Jungkook and I are still enjoying traveling and going to places we haven't been to before." Jimin smiled.

"That sounds really nice, Jimin. Both of you love adventures, so you must be enjoying every bit of it." Jin said, which earned a big smile from the couple.

"Jeon Chi-ah won't be possible, you know. Our baby girl will be much older than your child."

"Tae is right. So our Hosu is the best match!" Yoongi said with a smirk.

Namjoon suddenly laughed when he realized something, "Hey, my kids qualify too! But sadly, that won't give Chi-ah a new surname."

Everybody let out a laugh at what Namjoon said.

"Okay, okay, guys! Let's eat before the foods get cold!" Yoongi said.

"Thanks Uncle Yoongi and Uncle Hobi for the foods today! And Uncle Jimin for bringing us Chi-ah's cake from your hotel's patisserie." Taehyung said while he wiggled around the little girl's arms.

While everyone was busy with the food, Jin was smiling as he stared at Taehyung. His smile was a mixture of satisfaction, joy and relief all at the same time. Taehyung sat beside him, with Chi-ah on his lap who was still giggling.

Taehyung noticed it and asked, "Are you okay, baby?!"

"Y-yes. Of course. I'm just-- too happy right now. I-- nothing. Don't mind me." He muttered softly.
