Mituna awakens from his prophetic nightmare. He quickly gets out his husktop and finds his moirail, Kurloz, online.

TC: I CAN'T TALK ANYMORE
TA: why can't you talk?
TC: I BIT OFF MY TONGUE AND SEWED MY MOUTH SHUT
TA: why d11d you do that two your5elf?
TC: BECAUSE MY KITTYBITCH CAN'T HEAR BECAUSE OF ME.
TA: what happened?
TC: I HAD A NIGHTMARE AND I SCREAMED SO LOUD THAT IT DEAFENED HER.
TA: 5h11t. what wa5 your n11ghtmare about?
TC: IT WAS ACTUALLY THE SAME AS YOUR PROPHESY, BUT I HAD TO WATCH YOU AND EVERYONE ELSE DIE.
TA: damn, buddy. we need two warn everyone 5o we can 5ave them!
TC: WARN LATULA, CRONUS, COERAN, DAMARA, AND RUFIOH. I'LL TELL EVERYONE ELSE.
TA: are you 5ure you should tell muel11n? what 11f 5he'5 mad at you for making her deaf?
TC: I HAVE TO FIND OUT FOR MYSELF.
TA: ok a5 long a5 you're 5ure.
TC: I'LL TELL YOU HOW IT GOES.
TA: ok, 11'll 5tart warning people.

Worried for his friends and matesprit, he starts trying to warn everyone. Since none of them have ever witnessed one of his prophecies come true, nobody but Kurloz believed him. Latula said, "1'm sorry but wh4t 1f 1t's just a n1ghtm4r3?" and Cronus said, "you told latula? she probably thinks you're retarded thinking your nightmares vwould come true. it vwon't happen." Mituna laughed at Cronus responding, "at lea5t 11 have a mate5pr11t."
The only one, other than Mituna, who showed up near Latula's hive was Kurloz. As the psionic-powered CrockerCorp battleship approached, Mituna tried to use his psionics to turn it around without straining himself, but he couldn't so he amped it up, knowing he could kill himself in doing so. He managed to do it before collapsing on the ground. Latula, having heard the commotion, saw him collapse and ran to his side with Kurloz. He was unconscious but they could see the red and blue smoke leaking from his closed eyelids. Latula brought him to her hive, as it was closest, and gently put him on the couch. Neither Latula, nor Kurloz, found words to speak. They just sat by the couch and waited silently for three days/nights for him to wake up, not leaving to sleep or eat. When he woke up, his hair was pushed away from his eyes so his red quadrants would know when he wakes up. As he opened his eyes, Latula was the first to react and hugged him tightly.
"oh my gog! 1'm so gl4d you'r3 ok!"
"WH47 7H3 M07H3RFUCK H4PP3N3D?"
"1 hon3stly don't know. 1 s4w you coll4ps3 so 1 brought you h3r3."
Kurloz doesn't respond, just smiled, glad his moirail didn't kill himself for their sakes.
"kurloz, w3r3n't you th3r3? you s4w r1ght?"
Kurloz admits he was there but doesn't elaborate.
"C4N 50M30N3 3XPL41N WH47 H4PP3N3D? 1 D0N'T UND3RT54ND!"
Kurloz simply shook his head.
"C4N'7 Y0U 54Y 5OMT3H1NG?!"
He shakes his head and signs, "REMEMBER? I TOLD YOU I CAN'T TALK."
"1 C4N'T R3M3M83R. WH47'5 WR0NG W1H7H M3?!"
"noth1ng, l3t's just t4k3 you to porr1m."
He tries to get up and walk to the door but forgets to open it, instead banging into it. Latula runs up and opens the door and reminds him for future reference.
Kurloz signs, "WOULDN'T IT BE FASTER TO RIDE YOUR FOUR WHEEL DEVICE?"
"good 1d34 kurloz!" she says before grabbing their skateboards. "com3 on m1tun4! m4yb3 th1s w1ll h3lp you r3m3mb3r som3th1ng!"
He is retaught by Latula how to skateboard, and tries to grind a rail but faceplants. Latula decided he should try not to do any tricks until he gets a helmet from Porrim, and informs him of this. He tries to use his psionics to get up.
"WHY D05N'7 17 W0RK?!"
"1 don't know, 1 w4sn't th3r3."
Kurloz doesn't respond, he keeps his theory in his mind.
"do you h4v3 4ny 1d34 kurloz?"
He shakes his head no and smiles a little.
They finish their journey in silence, Kurloz arriving slightly later as he didn't have a skateboard and jogged instead.
"What brings you to+ my hive o+n this fine night?"
"w3 n33d your h3lp."
"Ho+w might i be o+f any assistance?"
"m1tun4 n33ds a h3lm3t 4nd 1 w4nn4 know why h3 1s h4v1ng m3mory probl3ms and b31ng un4bl3 to us3 h1s ps1on1cs."
She quickly makes Mituna his helmet, and Latula puts it on him.
"WHY D0 1 N33D 7H15 H4ML37?"
"so you won't hurt yours3lf."
"0K 7UL1P."
Porrim then proceeds to interrogate them, Kurloz never responding, and she announced, "I do+n't kno+w why this is happening." This had shattered Latula's hope for getting the Mituna she knew and loved back.
"oh, th4nks 4nyw4y." They begin the trek back to Latula's hive, Kurloz in front, with Latula following Mituna behind him. Mituna trips, tripping Latula who's nose hits his new helmet with a sickening crack. Kurloz turns around to see her teal blood leaking from her nose all over Mituna's helmet. Latula gets up, and helps Mituna up. They quickly return to her hive and she uses tissue to stop the blood flow. When her nose stops bleeding, she finds she can't smell.
A/N: Tada!!! I just put every incident into a single chapter. Yes, I know that why Latula can't smell in reality probably wouldn't be like that but, hey I tried. Now all of the canon impairments are complete.
