Karkat sat in his respite block. He knew Nepeta was really flushed for him, he really did. But he and Terezi are starting a flushed relationship and he figured it would be best to have Terezi tell her, considering they're "rolepurrlay buddies." He didn't want to upset the cat troll, and he certainly didn't want her moirail angry with him. It's best this way. Coeran was right, we do belong in the flushed quadrant. There's only one thing eating him up inside. Ok, that's a lie. Three, not one. His guilt about Nepeta's flush crush on him, and the fact that his moirail and his matesprit are in a caliginous relationship and they'd been trying to keep it a secret. What also sucks is through Sgrub, they met Dave Strider. Dave seems to want to steal his matespit and it worries the cancer. He trusts her of course, she is "Ms. Justice," after all. Karkat saw a message on his husktop. He quickly realized it was from Coeran, whom he hadn't spoken to in a few weeks. She never did explain the bit about her lusus, who as Karkat recalls, died quite a while back. Now seems like a good time to ask.

DH: Touch3.
DH: I still can't 3xplain unl3ss you do som3thing for m3.
CG: WHY? YOU AREN'T VRISKA PRANKING ME, ARE YOU?
DH: No. I just n33d you to com3 to my hiv3. It'll b3 3asi3r to 3xplain and th3r3's som3on3 I want you to m33t.
CG: FINE. I'M EXTREMELY CURIOUS ANYWAY.
DH: Thanks!!!
