"WHAT is it?" Chase asked the girl, "Listen, our lives are literally falling apart in our hands. This house is needs a lot of work. Everything's confusing, and even though I'm mostly okay with things being out of order, I don't like this." Chase had placed a hand on her shoulder to stop her from ranting. "Are you talking about this house or our relationship?" Chase asked the question.

She was talking about both, but mostly their relationship. "Yeah. Relationship, sure. But, um, it's killing me on the inside, okay?" She admitted to Chase, feeling a little pressure. "The night of the dance," He spoke up, "We thought the world was gonna end. And it's still going for now. We've been sharing tents and sleeping bags." Ria nodded, "We have. But most of that was for safety and warmth. And..." Ria uncrossed her arms, unable to think of anything else.

"Listen, we are here right now, and it's not perfect. And it's total sense that you would be wondering about us." Chase clarified, Ria exhales. He understands her, and she liked him for that. "You get it. It's just, I don't know. Anything could go wrong." She whispered, feeling her throat tightening up. "Hey." Chase lifts up her chin so they were eye level. "We can take this at your pace. However you want to do it." Ria wanted to cry at the moment, but it would be more of a good cry.

She was speechless, she chuckled at him. "So, you do want this? You know, the two of us, a thing." Chase could only smile at her, "That is what I'm saying. You know, for someone who is so headstrong, you can't express your feelings." Chase pulled her into a hug and they both laugh. His touch made her relax a bit, "God, I feel vulnerable." She sniffled and he could only kiss her cheek. "It's okay. Get used to it." He winked at her and she felt her cheeks warm up a bit.

"Maybe I'll come help you. Gert can tag along." She smiled as they walked out of the corner, Gert had saw them together, she looked at Solaria, who gave her a big thumbs up. "Hey, wanna join me and Chase? Gonna fix up the power." She asked Gert, "Sure." Gert had put down the tiny broom and duster.

CHASE grunts as he screwed some things on the power box, Gert holding a flashlight down at him while Solaria used the flames from her hands to give him extra light. "I think...that'll do it." He stood up, "I feel like there's a 50-50 chance that we're gonna get electrocuted when you flip that switch." Gert breathed, "Always wanted to know what it felt like to get electrocuted." Solaria had put her flames away, almost burning her jacket since it was cold outside.

It was dark, probably about 9:30 at night. It's been an hour since they've been working on the power. Chase smiled at the two girls, "That's...interesting. But, come on, it's way more like 40-60." He answered to the both of them, "Does that mean there's a 40 percent chance of us getting electrocuted?" Ria questioned her boyfriend, "It's a hundred percent chance that's you're gonna be blown away by my engineering prowess." Chase smirks at the two.
