ALL six of them waited in the woods for Chase. Ria was leaning against a tree, observing her surroundings. It was quiet, the only thing you could hear was some birds chattering and some squirrels crawling up the trees. And it was quiet chilly to. They didn't want to meet up. But it was apparently important.
Ria dreaded every second standing here, Chase walks up to the group. Him and Solaria making eye contact before Ria's gaze turns to something else. It could be a set up, Nico had the staff & Alex had the fistigons on him just in case something were to happen. "Looks good on you." Chase compliments on how they look, "Safety precaution. No offense." Alex told him, and he nodded in understanding. "May I add that you're lucky Gert and Nico calmed me down enough not to punch you straight in the nose or turn you into ashes, and should be considered as such." Ria scowled at Chase.
"She's really pissed at you." Molly stated the obvious at him, "Totally aware." Chase acknowledges the feelings. "We all are." Karolina crossed her arms, and they had a right to be upset at him. "If you can put aside your hurt feelings for one second, there are more important things to discuss." Chase announced, "More important than the complete betrayal of your friends?" Gert raises her eyebrows, "And girlfriend." Chase sighs, keeping his posture. Even if it did hurt him a little on the inside.
"I'm here with an offer from our parents." That made everyone gag a little bit at the news, "Oh, my god, you're one of them." Nico looks at him with disgust, "No I'm not." He defended himself, the rest weren't having it. "Makes total sense. You always wanted to go home." Karolina recalled the many times he said those words.
"Will you please listen? They're coming for you with everything they've got. I've seen their weapons, and you can't win." Chase explains the the group that he once was in and part of, "We've heard that before, yet here we are." They could take down their parents like before, they've done it many of times, this one wouldn't be any different. "But this time it's different. If they have to hurt you, they will, and believe me, they can." Chase informs the group on their parents, "But they'd prefer you to come him without a fight, and if you're willing to do that, then PRIDE is ours."
That sounded really bad. They didn't want to take up for their parents killer organization. It would be wrong, then they would become like them. "Why would we want a totally corrupt organization and the hypocritical life that comes with that?" Gert asked him in a stern tone, "Because they would step back. They would let us run it however we choose." Chase started telling them the perks, Solaria wanted to tune out, but she couldn't.
"We'd have resources for, I don't know, feminist empowerment projects, new organizations for NASA," Chase looks over to Gert and Ria, trying to pull the things that they loved card, which wasn't going to work. "...feeding the poor, educating the marginalized. Teaching people about what's beyond the cosmos. The stuff you're always talking about, we'd actually be able to do." He tried to convince them, but it cleary wasn't working, he could tell by the looks on their faces. "As nice as that sounds, it's never going to happen." Ria shuts him down harshly, making him frown a little.
