AFTER the argument was over between the three, Chase had thrown the paper into the mountains of thick chocolate. Solaria didn't even bother to slip of her robe, or hang it back where she got it from. She had sat on the couch, eating away at the strawberries.
She hoped that the lady wouldn't have suspected the three young teens of lying, "Guys! I'm in!" Alex had called from the room he was in, the three gotten up to see what was happening, Livvie looked at the three of them, noticing the three in the robes. She smirked, "Looks like someone got comfortable." Oh, it wasn't like that. "No, we had to do it for the mission. Or, we could've been busted." Ria informed the two sitting in the bed. "Oh, wait, there. Play it. It's Darius." Livvie points out on the screen.
The trio sat down on the bed, looking at Alex's computer screen of the footage. He clicked on one of them, the footage had glitched a little bit, and he was gone. "No, no. It can't be gone." Alex scoffs at nothing, it must have been their parents doing, cutting out video clips to stop people from finding out the real story. "Of course PRIDE would Nixon the shit out of this." Gert's voice sounded irritated.
"No, there's gotta be another feed, okay? Something." Alex types something on the keyboard, "There's gotta be another way to prove that my dad was here." Ria ran through her hair, if they couldn't find any proof, then it would be over and his dad would just get away with it freely. "What about the other cameras? There are boutiques downstairs." Livvie thought, "Anyone who came in would have to go through the lobby, so they probably-" Alex cuts off her off with a kiss.
Making Ria almost gag. Yes, she was in a relationship herself and would kiss Chase in front of her friends, but it was different. "They have their own cameras. Yes!" The keyboard clacks, "And taking your own girlfriend's credit. Surprising, really." Solaria jokes with Alex, it was all love. "Or maybe he was just being cute and finishing her-" Chase tried to defend Alex, "I don't wanna hear it. I'll tell Gert to throw your fistigons into the chocolate." Ria warned the boy, and he quickly shuts his mouth.
Alex clicks on another feed, "Okay, here we go. All right, anyone walking through the lobby will have had to pass through this window." He explained while rewinding, and they saw a familiar person. "Detective Flores. The cop on PRIDES payroll." Alex points him out, "Huh." Solaria scoffed at the news. "And AWOL, the guy who shot us today." Livvie mentions to them. "Looks like their waiting on someone." Gert told, which was obviously his dad.
"Yeah, my dad. Let's make sure we got it on tape, then we can go." But to their surprise, it wasn't his dad that showed up. It was his mom, Catherine Wilder. "Alex, it's not your dad." Solaria whispered, "It was your mom." A scowl formed on his face. They couldn't believe their eyes, his mother, had killed Darius, not his dad. Even though that doesn't excuse the horrible things he's done. They didn't notice that Nico and Molly have been blowing up their phones.
