"WHAT you did out there was so badass." Gert had told Solaria who had smiled at her, "It's only now that I discover that I have mental and physical based abilities, I think the gravity and the fire from space has to to be my favorite." Ria had mused, they all sat down for coffee, to calm them down a little bit after the events that juts took place. "So, you can make people float. And make fire from out of your hands." Chase had looked at her curiously , "Yeah, the floating happened a couple of times, I still don't know how to control it yet. I accidentally melted my toothbrush this morning."
Chase shows a toothy grin at the girl, and she did the same. "Well, maybe since we're all learning, we can do research on them." He suggested to her, and she agreed. "I promise not to burn your equipment." She winks at him and he laughs. Alex had came in, joining the group. "Alex! You're alright." Solaria had sent a smile towards him, he quickly sat down on of the chairs, it looked like he had someone on his mind. "Guys, we have a problem." He says in a hushed tone, which confused everyone.
He was saved and no one got hurt thankfully. "What are you talking about? We got you back." Nico looks at him with confusion, "Yes, and now we have to save someone else. His name's Andre, he was with the men who kidnapped me." Solaria had rubbed her temples at the news Alex unpacked, they had already gone through enough things tonight. "So why would we help him?" Chase whispers to him, obviously against the idea of helping a kidnapper. Alex sighed heavily, "He was just following orders." Gertrude had looked displeased, "Isn't that what the Nazis said?"
"He's the same age as us," Alex brushing off Gertrude's sarcastic comment, "...and I think our parents are about to do him what they did to Destiny. We have to stop them." Alex explosions to everyone, "Alex, we almost died back there. And now we're risking our lives, again. Plus we don't even know him!" Ria takes a sip of her latte, that still somewhat hot. "Do we even have a plan?" Karolina asked Alex, everyone was on edge about his way to save the boy.
"The plan is making sure no more kids die." His tone was quiet, making sure that no strangers would hear them or ask them strange questions. "Alex, we need to take a beat here, okay? Many of us have just exhibited superhuman abilities," Gertrude take a glance at Ria, Molly and Karolina, the three super humans and a witch, Nico. Molly getting irritated with her antics and fixing her beanie. "You try lifting a SUV with your bare hands. It's exhausting! At least you guys finally got to see what I can do. I've been trying to tell you forever." Molly sounded prideful and felt great in herself, "Yes, Moll, we finally believe you, but—" Alex pushed up his glasses, indirectly apologizing to her, "—Oh and speaking of superpowers? Gert had a dinosaur she can order around." Molly cuts him off, Gert almost looked embarrassed as everyone turned with shock faces, except for Solaria and Chase, they already knew.
